Moa Breakfast Beer is a blend of premium wheat malt, floral Nelson hops and cherries. A very refreshing and fruity lager specifically designed as a European-style breakfast beer but more commonly enjoyed as a mid-afternoon beverage here in New Zealand. Although not always.

They had a bunch of these at the store that apparently been sitting around for a year or two (they were marked down). Based on how this "Belgian" goes down. It may not have aged well.
It pours dirty yellow with nice head. There was just a bit of sediment in the bottom. The aroma is quite good. A soapy fruity smell comes first, followed by just a bit of yeast in the smell. The taste is sweet and light. The aftertaste is a little funky, with an unusual powdery mouthfeel.
Not recommended. I have another from this brewer that was also marked down. After this I am none too anxious to see what it is like.

L: bright amber gold with rapidly rising bubbles under a 1" white foam collar that is lacy and persistent
S: fruit aromas are big, mostly berry and tropical fruit, guava and pineapple, medium to medium low floral and spice
T: Slightly sweet tropical fruit and berry start the flavors joined by some Belgian yeast character. A moderate bitter accent rises up mid-palate with a quick return to the fruit flavors leading to a drier, slightly fruity bitter finish
F: This is a very creamy, smooth beer with a medium to medium light body and soft but above average carbonation.
O: The beer is very pleasant and flavorful and you could certainly drink it instead of a mimosa for breakfast.

Very fruity, blueberry, pomegranate. Light, yellow color, small white head. Taste is pasty fruit. Hay.
Not bad for breakfast or early in the day, but any more would be painful.
08/26/14
Update...4-pack on vacation, hilton head, sc. Enjoying quite a bit. 2.9 up to 3.4.
1 of the 4 corks was not fully sealed and so that beer was completely nasty; the other 3 were pretty good though.

Bought this at Julio's basement clearance sale. Figured it was worth a try for the price ($3.99)
A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a slightly cloudy golden hue with a fat two finger head that leaves loads of side lacing and a thick blanket.
S - Aromas of sweet berries (primarily strawberries), bright, candy like a summertime berry cooler. Light wheat and vanilla, light lemons, citrus, oranges. Holy cow. The combo of berries, cherries, lemon, citrus...very fruit punch like.
T - Taste is not anywhere near as good as the nose. Starts with a fair amount of wheat, then some light lemons. Cherry becomes rather syrupy, berry notes are super faint. Gone are the citrus and vanilla too. Nicely floral, hop notes are basically just that though. Nice earthy yeast thing going on. As it warms a bit more strawberry comes out. and the almost medicinal cherry fades into more of a generic fruit.
M - Mouthfeel is brightly carbonated, crisp, nice and dry too.
O - Overall this beer looked great and smelled amazing, however, the taste never came close to how bold and fruity the nose was. That being said this was still a really really fun beer, one that I would like to try fresh (I'm uncertain the date of this bottle) as perhaps then the fruit would pop more on the taste.

From a 12oz bottle into a snifter at WoB Arlington. Pours pale yellow with a thick, fluffy head. Fruity aroma with notes of passion fruit. Tastes of passion fruit, Apple, and cherry.

Appearance: Hazy golden orange in color, about like egg yolk. The head is white, robust, and rather dense. Thin, fine-beaded lacing coats the glass walls in an unbroken sheet.
Aroma: Quite pronounced note of sweet oranges and apples dominates the aroma. There is a moderate herbal hop note as well. The aroma very much invokes cider.
Taste: The taste begins with a strong wheat malt presence, which forms the backbone of the taste. Soon after, a bouquet of fruit flavors presents: bitter apple, orange rind, cherries, straw berries and watermelon. All of this is nicely balanced by a moderate herbal and floral hop presence. Finishes with a lingering tropical fruit sweetness and a lingering, mild hop presence
Mouth feel: Smooth, soft, full, and pleasant.
Drinkability/notes: Refreshing and quite superb, would serve as an excellent summer beer.
Presentation: Packaged in a 12.7 ounce custom green glass bottle with a cork and cage, served in a New Belgium Brewing chalice.
