For any of you that read this, I've used some of the same notes from my review of Shanshui Beer, as these two parallel each other very closely....I've edited where necessary Thanks!

A- Comes in a can with the ever rare pop-top opening, which is kinda cool....nothing on the can in English other than the name and it shows to be 10 degrees plato, and equal to or greater than 3.6% abv. The beer itself looks pretty much like a generic ginger ale, being very clear and light dry grassy color....almost like club soda with some yellow coloring. The carbonation is noisy and starts out with a decent and fizzling out rather quickly to a scattered bubbly ring. Lots of big bubbles rise to the top initially followed by some settling down but still lots of smaller bubbles rising. Looks very thin, and there is really no lacing, with a couple very small patches of foam trying to cling but to no avail.

S- Grainy and/or grassy best describes the aroma. After this initial dryness, there is some generally bland malt life with some weak hop bitterness on the finish. I've smelled worse but this definitely doesn't have the most appetizing smell overall.

T- Hmmm....this surprises me a little bit in the fact that there is a dominant sweetness, however adjunct like, but something of flavor is there. After lots of cloying boiled corn kernels, the finish doesn't offer much to bitter this. The aftertaste on the palate lingers in a bit of a sticky fashion.

M- Thin, watery and bland best describe this brew. Nothing to chew on here....just a fizzy, palate scrubbing beer that is very much thirst quenching and refreshing...just nothing to write home about.

D- Highly drinkable and again, very typical of the Chinese fare. I can see this being a nice drink on one of the hot muggy Chinese summer days but it is not a strong attempt at a decent beer. It is equivalent to any light "BMC" beers out there, but it's still cool to get to try this beer and yes, if I get to China again, I'll drink this!
