A: A dark amber color, looks bright red when held up to light. Good head retention.

S: Has a strong noble hop aroma, with hints of dark fruits in the background. Not the kind of aroma that you would expect for a beer of this style, but I very much enjoyed it.

T: Not as rich and malty as I expected, but was moderately sweet. Nice and noble hoppy, with a slight bitterness on the back of the tongue. There is a slight fruity, plum-like taste but it isn't as fruity or yeasty in the nose or on the palate as I would expect from a Belgian strong dark which make me wonder if a Belgian yeast strain was used. (I checked the description on the bottle, and it doesn't mention anything about it being a Belgian style of beer) Again, uncharacteristic for the style, but quite enjoyable nonetheless.

M: Thinner than I expected. A little too thin for a Belgian Strong Dark Ale, but not bad.

D: The fact that it is a little thinner than most beers of this style, and the drying qualities of the hops which cut down on the perceived sweetness, make this beer a real drinker.

Light brown colored, with a beige head, abundant, creamy, quite beautiful.
The smell is no too inviting. Some dates, dry figs. Plastic-like notes. Boh.
It gives an idea of a "construited" beer. Not much interesting.
The same can be said for the fruity taste .
Not interesting.
