APPEARANCE: Poured a golden orange with a nice, thick head in my tulip glass. This beer was poured by Tim? at Monks in Souix Falls, SD. It was crystal clear and left behind some very pretty lacing.
SMELL: The nose is not overwhelming, but it has a moderate strength and is nice and bitter. The hops are strong.
TASTE: 100 IBUs is what you initially taste in this hop-bomb. Some floral flavors exist, but grapefruit and lemon lead the way keeping this tasty brew bitter from start to finish. The lemon flavor also adds a touch of tartness.
MOUTHFEEL: Strong carbonation and nice a sparkly. This beer cleanses whatever food may be on your palate with each sip and leaves an outstanding, bitter aftertaste.
OVERALL: After spending three days in South Dakota and trying about 20 SD beers, this is clearly the standout for me. It is bold, aggressive and pushing the limits for hop heads like myself. Well done, I hope Crow Peak gets to my new home in Colorado soon.

Can provided by LiverBelly - thanks. Named after the 11th Hour Gulch in Spearfish Canyon where the walls are so narrow and high that it receives only 1 hour of sunlight each day. Hope to visit one day.
A: Pours a clear goldenish copper with a thin (1/4-inch) slightly off-white head which fades quickly to the rim leaving some spotty lace.
N: Pine forest and grainy malts with some mild floral and herbal notes.
T: Mainly follows the nose with piney hops, crackers, and malts
M: Moderate body and light carbonation. Slightly resiny with a dry and bitter grassy finish.
O: Refreshing, but don't expect a hop monster. Could not figure out the canning date above the bar code (2 10 27 A 2 B A). Would like to try this really fresh.

Small to medium off white head slowly settles above a clear bright copper golden colored beer.
Nice but light hops aroma of cut grass and even lighter mountain pine.
Nice hops bite to the taste with the pine coming more to the forefront and bringing some of the tall-grass aspects with it.
Dryish aftertaste with the hops bite sticking around with this medium bodied IPA.
Nice hops bite to this beer without trying to be west coast or old school, it finds a nice happy place somewhere in between and I like it.

11th Hour pours a copper color with a nice and long lasting lacing head. There is a floral aroma, but its rather weak. The taste has some floral notes, and has a nice hoppy bitterness at the end. Nice full flavors, but does finish a bit harsh. Overall however its a nice IPA.
