Clear straw yellow to pale golden color, fluffy white head. Malty, grainy, a bit acidic scent. Sweet, malty taste. Sweet, grainy aftertaste. Medium thin mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Format: a standard embossed green 330mL bottle with a decent macro label.

Appearance: standard low carb stuff - fairly crisp and light, with pitiful small head with no lacing.

Aroma: decent grains and floral, weedy hops. Inviting, particularly for a low carb lager.

Taste: more of the same floral hops over the top of a typical lager. A nice change.

Aftertaste: hops dissipates, leaving a off-metal lager aftertaste.

Mouth feel: a crisp and clean light body with a medium to higher carbonation that brings that metallic taste through. Not brilliant.

Overall: if I was crazy and wanted to drink a supposedly 'all malt / low carb' beer, this is probably one of the few I would choose. Fortunately though I am not crazy, so I'll just drink a standard lager / pilsner.

Another of the Tasmania only Cascade beers. Bought at the brewery and served in a wine glass. 375 ML bottle.

A-- Poured a clear straw yellow color. Lots of visible carbonation and a one finger bright white head that quickly went to film. Decent head retention and soapy layer of lacing left while drinking.

S-- Sweet malts, slightly grassy and not much else. Pretty clean smell.

T-- Clean, crisp, sweet bread, and slightly grassy.

M-- Very clean and very forgettable. Slightly creamy in mid and back palate, finishes with sweet bread and metallic hints. Light bodied and medium carbonation. Finish is what sticks around most .

O-- Not bad but very forgettable. Really. Forgot what this beer was 5 minutes after having it. Just clean and simple.

Appearance: Stable head, perfect lager colour, great lacing

Smell: Caramel malts, some floral hops.

Taste/ Mouthfeel: Buttery and smooth. Great mouthfeel. Some hops character. This beer was not to bad at all. If only the flavours where a bit more prominent.

Drinkability/Overall: Tastes more like an English bitter but was nice. Better than Cascade Draught.

head forms a stable white foam layer covering the beer which is a clear light golden color. pretty standard really.
not much aroma to speak of, almost like it doesnt want to offend.
flavor? buttery, slight bitterness. not much as far as malt or hops. kind of a buttery/sour aftertaste. leaves me wanting to rinse my mouth.
