The selection here is much better than the knowledge of the staff. Whoever is the beer buyer knows their stuff and has put out a great selection. Make sure you know what you're looking for when you get there. Because of the size and focus on other liquors, it seems that the staff's focus is diluted from beer. This is a liquor store with some great beer, not a beer store that also sells liquor and wine.

I found myself looking for commercial craft beer while visiting the Boston area. With access to the world's beers in southern California, I was skeptical about the offerings on the east coast. To my surprise Supreme Liquors delivered. I left with a case of world class craft brew and several I have not seen in California. If you are in or around Quincy, give Supreme a try.
Good parking. Standard liquor store format. Wine is offered. Half of the beer selection is refrigerated.
I'm not sure why comment length for reviews is required to be at least 500 characters. Short and clear should be the goal.

Went to Supreme as a result of the posts and opinions I found here on BA. I was really impressed with the selection. Firstly, they have about 5-6 coolers for your basic domestic macros, and then at least 8-10 coolers for all of the micros. A vast selection from all over to say the least. I'm not very well versed in Brews from across the pond and whatnot, but they had micros from all over the US and I was particularly impressed by the amount of breweries from out West that were well represented.
What really put this place over the top for me was when I turned around and had my back to the coolers and came face to face with the shelves. Oh my, what a cornucopia of fantastic pounders (deuce-deuces, whatever you refer to them as)and specialty releases. Found several brews that I had been dying to try and hadn't been able to find and am looking forward to tasting in the coming days. Pricing is fairly reasonable and the layout is fantastic. I would recommend giving this place a try as it very much worth the trip!

Just a heads up, this place doesn't accept out of state id's. I'm 26 and they wouldn't sell to me because I'm from out of state. A wonderful waste of my time.
They do have a great selection of beer. One of the few places I've seen on my travels that carries Innis & Gunn. They carry most of the Dogfish Head line. Being that I'm in the area on a business trip, I was hoping to pick up Geary's HSA. They had it and I was thrilled until I was thwarted by the store being too cheap to carry an out of state ID scanner. Oh well, I'm planning on moving up here in the next few months, but I'll shop elsewhere once I have my Mass. ID.

This store is set on Hancock st. and is pretty easy to find. The staff is relatively helpful but not the most knowledgeable when it comes to the beer selection. I asked if they knew if they carried certain beers and was directed to the manager that was not there. On the up side I did like the fact that they sell 12oz. singles and had decent beer selection. There was a good selection of local beers as well as some foreign beers. The prices were decent and worth coming back for since they are slightly cheaper then other places in the area.

Local to me so it's one of the first places BeerFly led me to a couple years ago. Decent selection of American craft, probably an aisle about 20 feet long, 3 shelves with a few imports mixed in. Probably 10-12 cooler doors filled with American craft and imports. Local beers are highly featured here (Ipswich, Haverhill, Mayflower), $11.99 and $7.99 for all Sam Adams 12 packs and 6 packs, respectively. Sometimes a great deal, sometimes ok, depending on the season. One woman who works here seems to know exactly what they have and what they don't have, but doesn't really know anything about the beer itself and the rest of the staff seem to be strictly cashiers. Used to be able to get a lot of the limited releases here but that seems to have dried up and now it seems that a lot of the stuff that is here has been here for the last 6-9 months.
