We are talking Northern Westchester here, on the other side of Route 6 from the Jefferson Valley Mall. There about 4 of these DeCicco markets in Westchester. Gourmet food type place although this one doesn't seem as high end food wise as its more southern cousins. The beer here is also not as stellar, but they do cover a decent swath of Beer ground. The Barley/Hops/wheat/water products are to the far left corner as you enter. Expect to find Brooklyn, Sierra Nev. Omme., whale's Tail, Avery, DFH, Keegans, Rogue, Sam Smith, Lindemans, Stone (only Arro. Bast) Harpoon, Corsendonk, Flying Dog, Duval, Chimay and some of the typical Brit and German imports. Nothing too special or overtly interesting/worthwhile, but you will find plenty of worthy beers to purchase and enjoy. Close to the very tasty BBQ joint, Holy Smoke...

Wow, what a difference a location makes! I love the DeCicco's locations in Armonk and Brewster, so when I got to this branch in Jefferson Valley and saw how small it is...

The beer selection is outright poor. Imagine going to your local chain supermarket. They have a bunch of Samuel Adams packs, a bit of Sierra, Dogfish and Southern Tier, cases of Bud Light prominently displayed and a couple of bombers. Yup, that is about it.

Hoptimum, Burton Baton and Palo Santo and Founders Double Trouble are the most exciting things here, along with $11.99 bottles of Dogfish 120 you must request at the customer service counter. Other than that... this is really, truly sad. Not BA-worthy in my opinion.

i haven't visited the other 2 dicicco markets in westchester - but they're probably better than this one , a former d'agostino's - they don't seem to know what area to designate for their beer here - some on an end cap, some on various free standing displays some on shelves, some in a separated area - a smattering of good breweries represented here, in small quantities, again displayed kind of haphazardly -
i did pick up aventinus(!), an ommegeddon, sam adams imperial stout, a nugget nectar bomber($6.99), and an avery reverend - i also helped myself to a free(i guessed) stella artois glass off the shelf - a decent haul for this quick stop - the bathroom was typical of those in supermarkets, in the back thru an 'employees only' set of doors and a lunch/locker area - ok overall, being close to my home, but traveling 10minutes farther yields better results .

* edit 1/11 - the other Decicco markets blow this one away - the selection here has gotten worse (less) - I still check in - there might be an occasional 'gem' on the shelf -
