On tap at Prescott Brewing
Crystal clear light amber with almost no head or lacng

Aroma: Complex and sweet, with cotton candy, banana, tropical fruits, bubblegum,

Flavor: nicely balanced mix of tart, sweet and bitter. More banana than in the nose but still light for style. Lightly yeasty and bready.

Feel: Light+ body; adequate if low carbonation

O: interesting, pleasant, easy-drinking version of this style, with well hidden high ABV,

Enjoyed in a tulip at the brewpub.

Pure molten gold, with just a touch of haze. One inch of pillowy head recedes to a thick ring.

Lager-like aroma. Grainy, with crackers, pear and apple in the back. Too much lager character.

Same deal in the flavor — a heavy grainy lager character, with hints of Belgian yeast fruits and a clean, dry finish. Like a lager with belgian yeast thrown in.

Medium body, lightly fizzy. Moderate, massaging carbonation.

Not great. If this is supposed to be a tripel, it really missed the mark. Too grainy and like a lager. I’m suspicious that Belgian yeast was thrown in this in an attempt to save a bad batch.

A - poured with a small head of white foam on a clear, golden body. The head settles quickly and leaves only light lace.

S - sweet, fruity malt with some pilsner character and a touchof peppery spice.

T - thick, sweet malt up front with a note of pear and red apple in the middle. Finishes with a very sweet, almost cider like note of malt.

M - thick body, moderate carbonation, and a sweet finish.

D - overly sweet and flabby with a lack of real belgian character.
