Stopped in here for a late lunch after driving through Sedona and Jerome. Downtown Prescott was a neat place to walk around with lots of antique stores and we were pleasantly surprised to find this neat brewpub as well. The beer was good if not great, with a nice IPA and amber making up for a disappointing Tripel. Quite a few other options on the menu and it seemed like they brewed some seasonals and one offs as well. Service was very good despite the place being fairly full at four in the afternoon.

The food stood out with an extensive menu printed in a newspaper format, consisting of all the pub food options you could come up with. I had a really excellent peppercorn-gorgonzola burger and there were a number of other promising items on the menu to keep things interesting.

A pretty good brewpub overall, I would definitely go back if I were to find myself in Prescott AZ.

Basic brewery beers with a seasonal pumpkin. Petrified Porter was crisp and refreshing. Smooth with good dark and burnt grain flavor. Split a pulled pork sandwich. Fast service. Good food. Nothing spectacular.

10 beers on tap with a wide variety of styles. Small bar but lots of seating inside and in the covered atrium. Nice location on the main square across from the courthouse. 4 oz samples available. Hot pretzels highly recommended: the pretzels are pretty good themselves, and they come with a fantastic chive and cheese dip. Shepherd's Pie also recommended.

Visited earlier today after a nice hike around Willow Lake.

Atmosphere was OK, crazy busy at 12:30 on a Saturday afternoon. Families with little kids, old farts, a tattooed guy with a cane, and middle age folks all were present. I like the coasters from all over adorning the one wall which was a nice touch.

Quality was good overall, an enjoyable experience despite the craziness. Tried the Porter and IPA which were both solid brews.

Service was good, the young lady was quite busy but was timely bringing brews and food to Da Boss and i.

Selection of brews was pretty good - 10 PBC brews were available including a Tripel and a Barleywine which i did not sample.

Food was good. Da Boss had the turkey burger which she thought was very well prepared. I had a jalapeno burger which had a nice bite but was not overwhelming as i could enjoy my IPA with it without a constant burn.

Value was good, burgers were both under $12, brews were under $5.

It had been many years since we have been here, glad we stopped in. Definitely will have to come back for a hike and lunch in the future!

Stopped in at Prescott brewing after driving through Jerome from Sedona. Atmosphere is unique as the brewpub shares hall space with some other stores in a narrow indoor shopping space. Walls are lined with coasters from all over. Bar is to the right and back, butting up against the brewing space that isviewable through glass in the rear.

Service was attentive at the bar and they brought out the food promptly.

Selection of brews was about 10 or so taps, with the Achocholyse and Christmas ale being the popularly ones I saw poured. I ordered a pint of the Black Sheep Ale, a dark IPA that was delicious, nicely bitter and just enough roast. Also, tried the IPA which was spot on - not overly cloying, great fresh hops and clean malt flavors. Other brews on tap ranged from wheat, to light and other mild ales.

The food was also very good, we both ordered burgers and shared some fried pickles, all prepared to order and great tasting. Great portions for the price.

Overall quality was very good, brews were very fresh and food prepared well.

Value is exceptional, very cheap with pints at $4 and most menu items less than $12 or so.

Upon arriving in Prescott I had a somewhat disappointing tex-mex lunch and headed over here for a beer. I had done some research on this place and heard they had a chocolate beer of some interest, so I met my GF's uncle for a pint. Upon entering I realized that this place is in an old fashioned mall with gift shops abound, which kind of turned me off. The walls were covered in beer coasters which was interesting and gave me something to look at other than the many televisions. They had just re-released thier stout call the Raven, but I wanted Achocolypse, and that is just what I had. The bartender was happy to let me sample what i wanted, but the other brews look pedestrian, so I settled down with my chocolate porter and soaked in the place. The clientele is a mix of local and tourists. Food looked ok, but i only tried a buffalo wing and it, as expected, made me want to drink more beer. It is nice that you can get growlers to go, which we did. If you are in or passing thru town stop by. You will enjoy it, I just regret I did not have time to stop by the Raven. Ah, next time.

I decided to stop in to try a beer while walking through downtown Prescott. I was a little surprised by how -- um -- "America, F--- Yea" it was in terms of the people and the atmosphere. That being said, I was able to get a seat at the bar and not be bothered and just drink my beer. That's all I really wanted anyway. Additionally, the bartender was kind enough to let me sample before picking out what I wanted.

Besides the clientèle in cowboy hats watching boxing, I was struck by the typical bar decor (lots of beer coasters and signs on the walls) and what beers were on tap. I enjoyed the Manzanita Red -- just what I needed on a summer night.

If you're in Prescott, go check it out.

Stopped in on a Sunday Afternoon for lunch while vacationing in the area.

Started off with the Willow Wheat which was absolutely terrible! It had an awful skunky aftertaste. Then tried a sampler rack (without the wheat) and was pleasantly surprised that most of the others were very good. The light was bland but the pale ale, IPA and porter all had good flavor and aftertaste.

The food was good, nothing exceptional. And the service was also fairly good.

I probably would go back if in the area again.

Stopped by today with friends and family for a pre Thanksgiving bash.

The brewpub is a sizeable place, with a good size upstairs and downstairs dining area. It's inside an interior retail outlet center, with the dining area opening up into the small mall area. As you walk in, there are a fair number of tables and chairs all around, with a moderate size bar in the back to the left that probably seats around 12 or 15 patrons. There is the typical brewpub decorations, with posters, coasters and beer trays adorning the walls. There are also a fair number of TV's, with an emphasis on sports programing.

On this particular day they had around 7 or 8 beers on tap, which included one seasonal. Quality seemed to be OK; my IPA was very good, with the porter no better then fair. Everyone else seemed to be pretty happy with the amber and wheat beer they ordered.

The place was fairly croweded the evening we were there, and there were 12 folks sitting at our table. As a result, service suffered just a bit, though our waiter was still unfailingly pleasant and polite. Food was very good and definitely a cut above your normal pub grub. The menu was surprisingly diverse and well thought out; I was favorably impressed with my chipolte chicken salad and my friend's pot pie was terrific. Prices were very fair, with dinner for 12 (which included drinks) coming to around $200.

All and all, I was impressed with my visit to PBC and would certainly come back. A very nice place in downtown Prescott.
