A: Pours a clear light read amber, with a nice fluffy, bubbly off white head. Retention is above average, leading to decent lacing.
S: Largely a thick floral sweetness, with some earthiness.
T: Medium sweetness up front, again with a touch of the earthiness, leading into a lightly bitter finish. The light hop aftertaste lingers, and is slightly dry.
M: Medium body, medium carbonation, some mild chewiness.
D: Drinks quite easily, with it's more subdued flavors and pleasant dry finish.
It's a pretty nice example of an English pale, pleasant and drinkable.

WYCHWOOD FIDDLERS ELBOW 10/19/15
Poured from the 16.9 oz. bottle into an English nonick.
a: Cloudy copper with a half finger thick offwhite head which receded to thin surface foam and virtually no lacing.
s: Light fruit and caramel malt.
t: Same as the nose with the fruit notes coming to dominate the malt. Sweet to dry finish.
m: Light to medium, ok body and carbonation tingle.
o: A decent English pale ale, although the light fruit notes tend to defeat the malt presence. Perhaps an old bottle since there was considerable sediment and although purchased at a local store within the past month, the bottle label suggested it was originally intended for the Canadian market.

A: Hazy orange with a foamy white head.
S: Big orange presence in the nose, with citric hoppiness, strawberry, grass, and lemon.
T: A slight pleasant bitterness, with citrus nose dominating taste, along with fruity esters, berries and a touch of grass upon a malty backbone.
M: Medium-light bodied, pretty smooth.
O: Delicious. I would definitely recommend picking this up if you can find it.
Note: Recommended with other Wychwood beers (especially hobgoblin and king goblin) whilst watching Tolkien adaptations (my friends and I put on the hobbit cartoon, this was a few years ago).
