This one started off with a good dose of malty aroma, then a subtle hint of hops. Looked fantastic in the glass - beautiful reddish amber with a good sized head. The head stuck around for most of the glass, and left plenty of lace.
The taste pretty much followed the aroma. Malt is ever-present throughout, with the hops showing up late in the game for a slightly dry finish.
Mouthfeel was good - not thin but not heavy or chewy, either.
Quite drinkable - this could be a regular selection for me, if it was always available on cask. I have had the non-cask version of this ale, and I must say it is definately better on cask.

Wonder if a certain macro was behind the name change to Red Ale? A very nice beer, with a deep amber color and a smooth taste. The aroma was very plesant and the finish was quite nice.
The beer is described by the pub as medium and I would tend to agree. Would be a nice beverage for hotwings, nuggets, and
other pub fare.

Auburn in color, this beer also had a slight malt nose. Nitrogen was used to create a decent head at the brewpub. The problems started upon tasting. The beer seemed watered down. There was no profound malt base at all. It seemed weak and watery. Another dissapointing selection as I had lunch in the brew pub at Reading Terminal. At least the food was good.

Dark rich brownish red with moderate head and lace. Full aromatic flowery bouquet with hints of sweet malt. Brew is nicely balanced between bitter hop flowers and sweet malt. Made with quality ingredients, this beer starts small, ends slightly mouth-puckering and somewhat dry.
