Poured a cloudy gold with major head and lace with a fruity bouquet for an aroma along with some yeast and touch of sweet malt. Smooth, light, well carbonated and spicy so there's a crispness to this beer. Balances with the candi sugar sweetness that is in there. Not as strong or flavorful as some saisons, but a citric hop bite that is lowkey mixes with some sour pear/white grape and hint of tropical fruit tastes. An easy to drink session beer that I thoroughly enjoyed.

-This is my first Saison
-Seems to have a mild brett character
-Not a big fan of brett, reminds me of penicillin
-Taste is almost like a mix between a czech pilsner and Orval
-Too expensive, not as refreshing for summer as a decent clean hoppy lager, and not interesting enough to have instead of a good heavy beer at night

Cracking open the bottle precipitates a startlingly loud hiss, leading me to suspect some intense carbonation. Pours a handsome, translucent, golden amber color with an absolutely mammoth head of delicate, rocky, white froth--and this was with a nearly surgical pour. We're easily bordering on 3 inches here, folks. May God have mercy anyone that chooses a vigorous pour. This is why the word preternatural was invented...

Aroma is light and mild, smelling of yeast, lemon, floral notes, and maybe a dash of indeterminate spices. Flavor has a base of gentle, honeyed malt, pervasive Belgian yeast, and an appreciable earthiness typical of saisons. Determination of the spice profile becomes more manageable as the beer warms, with pepper being the first to emerge. Clove also manages to come through. Effusive carbonation nearly sizzles on the palate but is acceptable for the style. Broad, dense swaths of lacing cling impressively to the glass as the beer recedes, almost as if it was just lathered with dish soap.

Overall, this is a very palatable, albeit not especially complex, saison with a glorious presentation. It's crisp, perky, and full of the Belgian character I'm so fond of. I would readily drink this again.

@ Tasty Beverage

Hazy gold covered by a moderate layer of stable creaminess. Lovely aroma...herbal, floral, and spicy with a gentle sweetness, some dried fruit, and cereal grain. The flavor is more notably yeasty with softly sweet doughy notes and slight pepperiness. Not super spicy, but there is a dry and bitter floral quality. Medium-light body has some creaminess, though it seems to thin out towards the end of the glass and the carbonation is fairly gentle. A pretty nice Saison...

The colour of an orange sunset with a thin light beige head. Very little lacing and no retention.

A complex aroma of spices, citrus and yeast.

A tart, dry, almost chalky taste. The taste is a disappointment after the enjoying the aroma. Eventually a biscuit malt taste comes through with some hops in the aftertaste.

A dry feel with carbonation.

This was just OK for me.

330ml bottle purchased from Slowbeer by @LaitueGonflable.

Pours a solidly hazed peachy golden colour, with a frothy, rocky head of white. Minimal lace, possibly due to the relatively light body. Minimal carbonation, but everything else looks the business.

Nose is round and pleasant with Belgian characters coming through strongly. Decent peppery note as well, perhaps even a bush spice darkness. Slight juniper notes and a bunch of herbal notes—maybe basil. It's quite fragrant and bright—good stuff.

Taste is very similar, with that peppery spice and clean fragrant herbal notes coming through strongly, but it's backed up with a very nice sweet apricot character. Feel is very smooth and clear. It could use a little bit more rustic fragrance, or even a touch of acidity, but as it is, it's simple, but smooth and really quite pleasant.

Yep, this is good stuff. I'm really happy with it overall. It's solidly in style, albeit an approachable and pretty simple interpretation. But this simplicity makes it really very drinkable and enjoyable. Very good stuff.

a cloudy yellow / golden pour with 3 fingers of detergent-like head, nice lacing. smells of spicy belgian yeast, pepper, lemongrass.. typical saison profile with a bit of extra spicy character.. very vegetable-like!
the taste is a very strange one but delicious nonetheless! an earthy bitterness backs up a spicy overall tone. definitely taste the coriander and pepper.. the ginger is mostly in the spice.. which makes sense why it's such a nice spicy-like beer.. these are all naturally spicy on their own, blended with the belgian yeast make this fantastic! this is one of the BEST saisons i have tasted. love it, absolutely fantastic.
medium in body with high carbonation, yet still manages to have a creamy feel on the lips.

honestly, i say cough up the cash and pick this up. it is absolutely fantastic. the first beer from italy that i enjoyed thoroughly with no complaints.

Appearance: slight haze; big foam on pour, but diminishes quickly to a thin layer, leaving lace' apricot colour

Aroma: vinegary, acid, tart fruit, orange; mild spice; classic Belgian blond scent

Taste & Mouthfeel: thicker, creamier body than expected; mild overall, with something simlar to pumpkin spice being strongest - cloves, cinnamon; like a savoury dessert spice cake (would be nice with vanilla ice cream) and not too sweet; light bitterness/tartness provides contrast in the finish

Overall: wonderful, full mouthfeel and subtle, interesting spice flavour - and all well balanced

Pours orangey amber with a massive, growing head that is threatening to turn into a mushroom cloud.
Nose shows ginger, citrus fruits, floral characters, tea and doughy yeasty notes. Also some green herbal notes.
Flavours focus on ginger but also show herbal, spicy hops. Some soft malt underneath. Pretty easy drinking stuff.
Too much carbonation.
