At the Toronado on tap during SDBW.
A - Pours a deep and vibrant copper color with a nice thick, foamy head. The lacing sticks to the glass like cotton candy.
S - Resinous pine, slight onion-like aroma, citrus. Aroma is on the weaker side for an IPA this big (IMO). The citrus side is somewhat resiny.
T - Some onion-like character, piny resins, grapefruit citrus and lemon zing throughout.
M - Medium body, somewhat creamy on the tongue with small prickles.
O - A pretty good DIPA that's well brewed but just isn't doing it for me.

On tap at Toronado.
A: Bright orange with good clarity and a finger of dense white foam that quickly dissipates.
S: Dank pine resin with a dash of onion. I get a lot of citrus flesh, mostly orange, grapefruit, and peach. The hops are really expressive when the beer warms up. There's a fast fading candied sweetness and a light breadines. I get just a touch of alcohol in the nose.
T: Orange and mango mingle with onion and grapefruit. Sweetness is light and malt is bready. Alcohol is more evident in the taste than it was in the flavor, but it's not inappropriate.
M: Medium in body with upper moderate carbonation.
Overall: Another good IPA (Double IPA in this case) from Hollister. I recommend pairing this with carrots.
