Pours golden with great head and lacing.

Nose is tropical hops- paw paw, mango, pine. Bit of sourness.

Taste has more tropical flavours. Pine. Very present but underplayed, subtle hops. Lemon.

Mouthfeel has a malt bite, a bit of sourness.

Overall an enjoyable pale ale which perhaps would have been even nicer a bit fresher.

Very complexed APA. Pours a typical amber colour for an APA. Nice head that dissipates to a lace on the top. Heady, hoppy, banana/lemon aroma. Tastes like a mild lemon drop. Mild malty mouth feel. Slight bitterness. Nice colaberation between Amager Bryghus of Denmark and 3 Floyds Brewery of Munster Indiana.

Poured from the bottle into a nonic pint glass.

Tangerine solid orange colored body, with a bit of opaque and almost unfiltered appearance. Head creation is a bit out of control. Thick, huge frothy light cream white but taking over the glass and outrageously way too tall. Big shampoo and soapy retention, clingy, thick, and aggressive, but just too large and ridiculous.

From a rough start comes a real impressive bouquet. Hop bursting notes of citrus orange, lime zest, and spritzy kumquat like fruits all over. Airy grains and mild toast and biscuit aroma but much more powdery and not dense. Explosive nose of grain and hop surprisngly, and a citrus explosion all over, with a bring sweetness to match not of sugars but true citrus fruit. Real impressive.

Palate follows nicely. Light body with a big hop juiced front that ironically gives depth to the malt body which at first seems quite wet on first sip. Juiced citrus and tropics, hints of mango dominate. Light body and quenching aftertaste as well, with more fruit body thickness coming out on the palate. Great lingering aromatics on the finish of kumquats and giant zest and rind.

A real impressive beer, sort of going off kilter in it's presentation and delivery though, but one of those classic American pale ales that you sort of remember from Three Floyds and a brewery that just knows how to get it at least right on the palate.

It seems that all things hoppy are turned to gold with the masterful brewers of Three Floyds at the helm. Their influence over Amager brewers complex set of ester, dryness and crisp complexity gives this pale ale a perplexing flavor without compromising its effortless drinkability.

It golden orange pour hinges on light copper as it sheds a billowing fluffy white column of froth. Juicy aromatics plunge forth, big on orange, apricot and leaf as the tropical, citrus and herbal medley is just getting started. Supportive caramelized sweetness couples with toasty-sweet grain and hints of graham cracker gives the hops a quick but rounded undercurrent.

As the sweetness recedes, its arid malty structure continues to prop up the hops. Bursting with blood orange, tangerine, red grapefruit, mango, apricot and passion fruit, the ale's hop-forward taste gains command of the session and refreshes the palate with ease. Delving into finish, its herbal companionship joins the fray with fresh-cut grass, torn pine needle, and lemony verbena.

Its refreshment of citrus tea gives the pale ale much of its charm. Its piquant carbonic bite allows the final impressions a citrusy and minerally zing, much like reisling or volcanic grecian wine, with only a smooth pithy bitterness remaining on the gullet.
