A: The color is almost pitch black but holds some red hints as well. The thick pale brown head is creamy and takes some time to dissipate, leaving rich lacings.
S: Sweet light roasted malt. Rich hoppyness; both floral and bitter: citric and tropical fruits faint grapefriut. In the back there's some dark dried fruits.
T: Sweet malt, roasted and probably at least aced in oak wood-barrels; there's some vanilla in it. Bitter dark chocolate and faint coffee, not so strong. Loaded with bitter hops. Molasses and dark dried fruits.
M: Aftertaste is rather long and holds a bitterness but also a coffee-tone. Body is full and carboantion moderate. Smooth!
O: I liked this beer. A modest beer that holds lots of different flavours, in a nice balance.

The colour is black with a brown-red edge. The three finger head is dark beige. Lots of lacing.
The smell is creamy with a blend of roasted malts and fruity-bitter hoppy flavours. Some dry notes of alcohol and bitter herbs. Hints of fat phenols and a touch of dandelions.
The taste is an intriguing mix of sweet roasted malt and fruity-estery hops with a grand yet balanced bitterness. Full bodied. The aftertaste got some hints of wood and herbs. A quite mild bitterness (for the style), some coffee and cream plus a mild sweetness in the aftertaste with some malt sourness. Bitter herbs in the finish.
The carbonation is strong with lots of small short lived bubbles. The liquid is medium smooth and a little sticky.
An interesting and tasty beer, but where is the "Double"? More hops, please!

The beer is black with a brown hue, probably clear, a tan head with rather large bubbles that settles slowly and leaves lots of lacing.
Smelling of sweet sugary dried fruits mixed with herbs, grass and bitter nettles. Some tropic fruits and citric aromas as well, peaches, mango and bitter oranges.
Starting sweet, brown sugar, dark bread, then some dried fruits, raisins, apples, bitter nuances, dark cocoa, a hint of coffee beans and some sweet licorice.
Low carbonation, smooth with a huge body and a very dry long finish.
This beer has very much aromas and taste in it, much American IPA but still some RIS vibes as well.
