Made by Maui Brewing Co. and served at this nice brewpub in Kahana [West Maui]. 40 IBU.
Pours a wonderful dark copper color with a creamy head.
Hops [Cascade hops] comes through in the taste. A nice bitterness with a malt finish. Some citrus tones. Nice and creamy.
The mouthfeel is very refreshing. Overall, this is a wonderful APA from this impressive brewery. Very drinkable.

11/5/2005. Went to Fish & Game for lunch and unfortunately only got to try this one beer (would have loved to sit there all afternoon and sample...). Copper color with a nice foamy head. Fruity aroma with a touch of hops. There seemed to be a nice amount of hop flavor in this for a Pale Ale. Slightly bitter bite with floral notes making it great for the 80 degree weather they were having that day (and pretty much everyday). Would love to have it again but not sure if that's going to happen...

I had this beer on tap at the brewery while I was on vacation there. This beer is amber in color with a good full head. It has a pretty high hop aroma and almost reminds me of an IPA. In fact, from the aroma alone, it is somewhat difficult to distinguish between this beer and their IPA. After a taste though, it is easy to tell the difference, but only because their IPA is more of a double IPA. I would consider this to be a single IPA more than a pale ale. The hop bitterness is high in the flavor and has medium drinkability.
