A: Very dark brown or black. Light brown head of fine bubbles that dissipates quickly.
S: Coffee, roasted malt, dark chocolate. Low spicy hop aroma.
T: Roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate. Spicy hop bitterness. Finishes with some hop bitterness but mostly that coffee/chocolate malt flavor. Tasty.
M: Full bodied and creamy. Medium carbonation. Slight astringency on the finish, hop derived probably, but could come from use of roasted grain. Not excessive.
O: Well balanced specialty porter. While the coconut didn't come through as its own flavor, it did lend to the overall sweetness. This would be a great on a cold winter night by the fireplace.

Appearance – A super dark brown/black color with a nice thick tan head and light wet lacing.
Smell – Roasted malt, with a hint of sweet coconut.
Taste – Taste is similar to the smell, but also includes hops.
Mouthfeel –Lightly carbonated, smooth, and creamy, with a mild hoppy aftertaste.
Drinkability – The coconut is mild, and I think even people that don’t like coconut would enjoy this. It’s goes down easy, and is a great effort from Hawaii. Another reviewer said this would go well with angel food cake and I think he’s right.
