Not really sure why this beer in doubled in the database. The other listing has more reviews, but this one says "Review all production beers (cans, etc) under this location."
Sixer of cans brought back from Hawaii, this is the last of them. Canned 10/03/11.
Black body, good tannish-brown head, decent lacing. Good head retention.
Aroma on this one is great. Can smell chocolate from a few feet away from the can, before even pouring. Roasty and coffee notes compliment the chocolate.
Taste is a little light for a 6% porter, but leans more on the chocolate side of things. The coconut is really only detectable near the finish of the beer, and makes it more interesting than normal.
Mouthfeel is on the thinner side but good.
Overall this is a good porter, bold aroma, would have guessed less than 6% abv all considered. Would like to see more coconut character.

Can poured into stone glass.
Pours a nice deep black with hints of very dark red. Nose has some roast and chocolate, not much coconut. Taste has slight coconut, mainly roast and a cream sensation similar to a milk stout with slight bitter chocolate. Reminds me of a good milk stout and/but certainly quite delicious for a porter.
