Was able to visit the Kehie location which I understand is relatively new. Nice joint with 12 Maui brews and a few other HI micros. Overall decent selection in a bit of a beer wasteland. No kitchen but frequent food trucks. Don't miss the imp Coconut Porter if available.

This is a beautiful facility, with plenty of great beers on tap. It`s not funky or full of local flavour, but it is a decent place to sample beer you would not find anywhere else. I really enjoyed my visit to Maui, and Maui Brewing helped make it better.

This place is great! You're in Maui. The weather is perfect. The beer is fantastic. What more could you want?

I was very impressed by the beer here. I particularly enjoyed the Coconut Imperial Porter. Delicious.

Made a trip down to the new Kihei brewing facility while staying in Napili for a few stays.

Nice new large set up in an industrial park. Some indoor games (giant Jenga, giant connect four, and cornhole) in the entry area. Some scattered seating inside, and a decent outdoor seating area just off the taproom. They also had a food truck parked out front.

Quality is above average. Everything I tried was at least solid, but I didn't think that any of the beers were exceptional though.

Service was good. We spoke to a couple of employees and they were both friendly and prompt.

Selection was outstanding. They had 25 of their beers on tap. I wish they had a few more high gravity offerings, but I understand having lighter stuff in a warm climate.

Overall a very nice spot, that I am glad I went out of my way to check out.

This is for the Brew Pub not at the brewery. The brewery tasting room was pretty lame, no food, no atmosphere but you could take a tour for only $5 and you got a flight of samples of 4 of the top sellers.

The pub had excellent food. Best food of any brewpub I have been in. Ahi tuna salad and a pickled brisket that were excellent and priced very reasonable, especially for Maui. Selection of beers on tap was excellent. They had two hard to get beers that were not at the brewery and a lot to choose from and some wines. Overall it was a fun stop. They don't have the best beers in the world but they hold up well and hey it's in Maui.

Dropped in last night and was very impressed.
30-something Maui BC beers on tap plus a few Modern Times available, as well as cans and bombers of MT beers for purchase. The MBC beers ran the gamut of varieties and many were styles I didn't know they did...Altbier, kolsch, a rum BA porter... Happy hour 3-6 and $1 off beers during that time.
Great spot with lots of open, fresh air, cool patio area and lots of board games (apparently Connect Four is a big hit because they had eight boxes of it).
The owner was either making his rounds or hanging out with what seemed like a bottle share group so I thought that was cool.
Kids allowed, no food but they do have a food truck on-site and their grub looked great.
We come to Maui annually and this will be on my itinerary every time

I am reviewing this location as the actual production brewery for cans and kegs, along with the official brewery tasting room. I stopped in here with my Dad and we took the official tour that cost $10 and was very informative. A member of the brewery gives you full access to all parts of the brewing process from the brewing steps to the canning line. After the tour you get a flight of their 4 core beers: Bikini Blonde Lager, Mana Wheat, Big Swell IPA, and Coconut Porter. The beers were super fresh and much better straight from the source versus in cans shipped to the mainland. You also get a wooden token that entitles you to a full pint of beer at the actual brewpub down the road (where they brew beer as well, but only for sale in the brewpub itself). There is a tasting room attached to the production brewery as well. Prices in the tasting room were very reasonable for pints and tasters. The staff was very friendly here and answered all of my questions. This is definitely worth a stop for the tour and tasting room followed by a trip to the brewpub a few miles away.

Was able to talk the wife into coming here while we were in Maui on our honeymoon. I love going to breweries and couldn't pass up the opportunity to go to one while in Hawaii. I got the sampler while there and I believe it included the Coconut Porter, Bikini Blonde Lager, Big Swell IPA, and one more. I then got a Amber Reign while eating. It was pretty good. The bar had a frost/ice strip that ran down it that you could rest your beer on to keep it cold. I thought that was really cool. The wild boar pizza that we got there was really good.

Although my wife and I are craft beer tourists on the mainland we had never been to MBC's brewpub on the west side until yesterday. The layout was good with a few long picnic tables and other tables laid out in a medium sized room. The bar was U shaped with plenty of seating around it and a neat frost strip that ran around the inside of the counter where you could set your glass to keep it cold. The bartender was really busy but was good at keeping an eye on you if you needed service. We started with samplers and tried most of the 18 MBC beers available on tap except for the ones available in cans. Of the two 2012 GABF Gold medal winners Amber Reign and Hawaii 9-0/Wee Heavy we definitely liked the amber, although we don't usually like ambers and they were out of the strong scotch ale. The standouts for us were the La Perouse White, Black Rock, Coconut Rum Toddy Porter, Pau Hana Pils and especially the La Petite Blanca that is a La Perouse aged 10 months in chardonnay barrels.

The food was ok but we just tried a basket of fries and a Ceasar. The atmosphere was pretty much sports bar with several TV's and a little bit too much volume on the game that was on. Looked like a pretty good mix of tourists and locals and a busy afternoon but not too busy to get a chair or a table. Definitely the best and only brewpub on Maui, A Hui Hou!
