Very cool place with great deck and beautiful open seating. Not a huge fan of online ordering and would have liked a real person to talk to about the brews. Still, food was good and beers, which i am a fan of were good. Good time and worth a stop

Spacious, outdoors, warehouse like spot. Lots of room to spread out. They were testing out a new ordering system on my visit which made things overly complicated, in my opinion, in the back bar area. Main area remained a little more straight forward. Price aside, the food is ok but not the main attraction here.

I tried two different beers on my visit, but they both tasted the same.

Fantastic layout, killer outdoor areas, pretty much essential in the pandemic time line. Didn't have anything close to a bad beer there. They also had killer cocktails from their distillery. Service was polite & punctual. Food menu was pretty good with a nod to local preferences. At least 16 beers on tap. Plenty of to go to include some vintages I will never see on the mainland, If you only do one beer related stop on island, THIS

Without a doubt, one of the best breweries I've visited. Great location (on top of a hill overlooking fields & farmlands of Maui with peak ocean view) and great selection of beer. Very impressive. Great vibe. No attitude. Stop by... it's worth it.

The beer is amazing, the food is decent (getting better), but the service and management are still horrible. Their GM is totally aloof to what is going on in the restaurant 99% of the time and none of the employees respect him at all. They all are scared to say anything because they don't want to lose their job working for a place that makes great beer.

Went with wife and friend. A beautiful building, with wonderful airy open dining area with separate drinking only bar. Had the Zweikel, imperial coconut porter, belgium dark strong, kolsch, juicy, IPA, and double IPA. All solid, the porter standing out enough for me to grab a 750 to take back to Cali,. Food was good, but not great. I would stick with pizza. The view from the dining area is amazing, with glimpses of the ocean and a full mountain view. Service was solid. If I lived here in Maui i would never leave this place

This is review covers the Kihei taproom and restaurant.
We visited this place 3 times while on Maui. Once for lunch, then taproom, the other two times, just the taproom.
I've been to 80+ breweries in the last 5 years and I have to say the facility here ranks in my top 5. Another plus, 20, yes twenty, of their beers on tap. Between all of us we probably sampled 12 in our 3 trips and not a bad thing to say about the brews.
While the pour prices are reasonable, the food in the restaurant is expensive. It was good, but not that good.
More about the venue. Don't know when this place opened, but we visited the last week in Feb. 2019 and the place was still not on Google street view (just an empty lot). On the patio of the tasting room you can see Haleakala mountain AND the ocean. We could see whale splashes from our bench. Solar collectors are everywhere-roof, parking lot lights, awnings, sidewalk lights.
Definitely the best beer destination on Maui.

Review is for the Kihei location, tasting room area- not the restaurant.

Welcoming vibe, plenty of people up front to welcome you. You can buy all sorts of merchandise up front. If you have a reservation for dinner, keep walking ahead; otherwise the tasting room is to the right. They have about 30-40 different beers on tap- in addition to their year rounds such as Coconut Hiwa etc., including IPAs, hazy IPAs, saisons, stouts, india pale lagers, etc. most of which is apparently island-only. Impressive and some are quite good. You can try a flight or order by the pint. Service at the bar is solid, although on more than one occasion, I was handed glasses with a lot of foam that is dripping all over the edges in a messy fashion. Not sure what that was all about, those glasses should have been cleared off and topped off. Anyway, the setting in the tasting room is nice- indoors and outdoor covered seating. Cool vibe, and as far as island breweries go, this is a great spot with high quality beers that you wouldn't necessarily guess was made by this brewery based on their distributed year round beers.

How could this be better? If I want 14 hours away!!! I spent an afternoon in the tap room and touring the space. Good time was had. I loved the beer fresh the coconut and the pineapple where like different beers there. Good in Boston but OH WOW in Hawaii. They bring in food trucks for people to spend a bit more time, great room

Came in twice while in Kihei, both times it happened to be happy hour. It's a very clean and modern facility. They had live music on a Sunday afternoon. Great selection of beers and knowledgeable staff. Tasty pork belly baos. Best beer on Maui by a long shot. Recommended.

Stopped by the Kihei brewery restaurant and taproom twice during my time on Maui. Staff was friendly, but seemed to be stretched a little thin so service took a little longer, but was still fine. The restaurant and bar are beautiful, lots of open air, big windows looking in on the brewhouse, and cool light features at night. The beer selection was great with a little something for everyone from lagers to imperial stouts, even a saison and a cider on tap. My only real gripe is with the food prices. Eating on Maui isn't cheap, but they went more upscale with their menu so the prices seem extra steep. I'd happily go back for a pint, but after I've had dinner somewhere else.

It's hard for a place to have a bad vibe in Maui, but the staff was really friendly. A lot of beer to choose from which is awesome a few more then the old place in Kahana.

Had the opportunity to visit the brewery in 2015 and just wow, what a great experience. The brewery is awesome, the staff is very knowledgeable and the beer is phenomenal. Maui BrewCo is by far the best beer from Hawaii, Kona doesn't even come close to rivaling Maui Brewco. Had one of the best coconut porters I have ever tried and the Kihei Kolsch is also fantastic. The only downside is the beer is hard to find on the east coast. Being from CT it doesn't look like we will be seeing it any time soon. I have reached out to the company and sadly they don't see it coming here for a while :(

Went after lunch today - beautiful building and big space. Every staff member I met was friendly and helpful. Something like 26 beers on tap with 2-3 guest taps. High quality all-around including the imperial coconut porter. Great music, great crowd, great beer.

Beautiful new facility located on the West side of Maui. My girlfriend I couldn't pass up an opportunity to take a 5 minute ride from our resort to this new location to get out of the sun for an hour or two or good beer, food and to let our bodies relax from the Maui sun.

The tasting room as is the whole location is brand new and the quality is great as you'd expect with brand new facilities. The vibe was chill, it was pretty empty actually which was nice for us as we were able to sit back and relax and enjoy our beer and food in peace away from the resort and beach crowds. The sun was out and it was a gorgeous day outside, while others would say the vibe was non-existent it was just what we were looking for.

Being so slow we were able to take our time ordering and talking to the bartender about the beers on tap and help craft a perfect selection of what we were looking for as the selection they had was very good, if I can recall there was ~15 beers on tap, most MBC, but a few other locals and Kona BCs as well.

I collect growlers of breweries I visit and MBC's growler has to be one of my favorites thus far. Their largest comes in a DrinkTank (google them if you have to), but with the MBC logo slapped on it, this growler turned out to be my favorite thing I brought back off the island. We filled her up with their Bikini Blonde, nothing special about the beer other than it's freshness and supreme drinkability in the Maui heat.

Overall this brewery was amazing, I highly recommend if you're in Maui. You can't miss it if you're staying close by.

top notch for a brewery experience - they have a gift shop, brewery tours, and a nice outdoor space to enjoy beer. they don't have food, but have food trucks just outside.

they had like 20+ beers on tap, and all of the brewery exclusive beers I tried were good. good variety of styles as well.

Was able to visit the Kehie location which I understand is relatively new. Nice joint with 12 Maui brews and a few other HI micros. Overall decent selection in a bit of a beer wasteland. No kitchen but frequent food trucks. Don't miss the imp Coconut Porter if available.
