16 oz can at 40 degrees into 12 oz standard pint
Aroma very weak malt
Head average (2.5 cm), light tan, creamy, rapidly diminishing to 2 mm layer
Lacing poor – rare small island of tiny bubbles.
Body medium amber, hazy,
Flavor of malt, weak, and slight caramel; no hops, no alcohol, no diacetyl
Palate light to medium, watery, soft carbonation

Meets the definition of an American amber/red ale, so gets a high rating. Not very tasty, though. (445 characters)

Got a reusable flip top liter bottle from the brewery. If you return the bottle you get 2.00 bucks off your next liter purchase. Pretty nice but i may use mine for home brew.

Pour- Beautiful clear deep amber with porous head

Smell- Toasted malt caramel and fruit

Taste- subtle sour grapefruit, malt and with nice carbonation

Overall- pretty darn good, would most likely go well with any of the in house made sausages they have. (the sausages are authentic German and amazing)
Will buy this again

Go get you some while on vacation or just for fun (550 characters)

Poured from a tallboy can into a shaker pint, the beer is a very dark, ruby red coloring with a sparse surface coat of off-white head. Aromas of rich caramel, subtle chocolate, hints of cream and smoke, and a nice earthy undertone. Flavors are heavily roasted, with a solid blend of caramel and chocolate forward, followed by a caramel and smoke blend, earth and peat highlights, and hints of char. Rich and sweet, but balanced. The body is full, but with a slightly dry undertone. The aftertaste is heavily roasted and rich, with a solid blend of chocolate, caramel, and cream. Nice. Smooth, layered finish, with a lingering roasted sweetness. Solid beer. (656 characters)

[Suggested Glassware: Nonic Pint]

The pour was a cloudy medium copper orange with an average (1-2 fingers) light tan sudsy head that receded steadily until fully diminished and had poor spotty lacing.

The aroma was of a toasted bread malt, light citrus hops and a doughy yeast with notes of toffee, citrus (grapefruit) and a mild fruity ester.

Taste was malty sweet with a touch of toffee at first, progressing with a mild fruitiness, a slight tartness and a citrus peel bite at the end. The flavor lasted an average duration after the swallow, with the light bitterness giving way to a mild sweetness that lingered on the taste buds for a short time longer.

Mouthfeel was light in body with a mildly dry texture and a fizzy carbonation.

Overall this was a very unique tasting Red Ale. Fruity yet bitter, sour yet sweet, most definitely an enjoyable brew...

Bomber > Mason Pint

A - Cloudy, murky amber orange with a finger of bubbly white head that fades fast, no lacing.
S - Some toasted caramel, huge biscuit and bread dough malt smell, a little light fruit touch of maybe pear or apple.
T - Pretty malt forward beer, a little soapy bitterness which is off, some light apple hints.
M -Buttery texture, sticky and chewy.
O - Its an OK red, but this is rather generic. (414 characters)

This was an ale. This was not a bad ale. I would not go in search of this ale again.

Btw, I don't think its been retired since I just purchased a bomber. (155 characters)
