Had on tap at the brewery. This is a Kolsch beer with lemonade added.

A: Pours Light gold with two fingers of white head.

S: Lemon and a hint of banana.

T: Lemon up front with just a dash of hops.

M: Very clean and crisp with great carbonation.

O: A refreshing light beer for the warmer months.

Not bad. I had it on-tap at the Brewpub. The bartender (may be the brewer) described it as a Kolsch with some lemonade in it. It didn't sound great but a better alternative than squeezing a last glass of Weizen out of a near empty keg. Poured a lager -type gold color with a decent size white head. Left lacing but head retention was weak. The aroma had a little lemon in it but basically mild grassy hops.

Flavor was mild, pleasant. The lemon and sweetness were evident but cut a bit by mild hop bitterness.

Mouthfeel was rich enough and crisp. Drinkability is ok, not a great beer but you could put down a few of these on a warm day. I noticed that this was the only beer they did not bottle. The bartender can adjust the amount of lemonade that goes into it as well (mine didn't have much).

A 500 mL bottle that I picked up at the brewpub. Unlike earlier experiences with Weeping Radish bottles, this one isn't skunked! That, in and of itself, makes it a winner.

A: The radler is a pale sunflower yellow color, strongly influenced by both the light ale base and lemon. No head to speak of but some of the beer is lacing.

S: Not much aroma to speak off. Some grains but little else.

T: Lots of lemon with this one, but more syrupy and sweet than tart. The body strikes me as a kolsch, light and airy with a smooth grainy flavor. The lemon is crisp and sweet, neither puckery or cloyingly sweet. This works on the refreshing, enjoying for the sake of enjoying level.

M: A well-balanced lemonade with a touch of alcohol. This is another indication of the quality that Weeping Radish can put out when they want to (just seems like they don't care).

D: The ale is a nice drink, mild and sweet. It exceeded my expectations.

Purchased at the brewery/farm/restaurant in Jarvisburg. This is admittedly my first experience with this type of beverage so I am a bit intrigued. Here goes....

Pours a light golden straw color with about a finger of white bubbly head. Very little lacing.

Wow. I could smell the lemon as soon as I popped the cap off. Lemon is the strongest player here, with a bit of lemon-lime soda, some grains, and a hint hops. Smells like a summer refresher, for sure.

The taste doesn't disappoint. Refreshing, crisp blend of lemon, grains, and touches of hops and other citrus fruits. It's like a Hard Lemonade that's actually drinkable.

Very crisp and light mouthfeel. I am wishing I would have bought more than two of these now. Maybe I will be nice and share my last one with a guest...or maybe not! Different, but enjoyable.
