12oz can that I think I paid $1.59. Dark black, tan head, looks decent. Doesn't smell like much other than some burnt coffee and grounds. Flavor is more burnt coffee, not very much stout, not very appetizing. i wouldn't say this tasted bad but I wouldn't reach for another. I had no problem finishing the beer though.

on tap at Punch Bowl Social, Portland

Violet-tinged brown with beige film.
Roast, chocolate truffle, coffee nose.
Cocoa powder, acidic black bite, a whack of coffee and a branchy end.
Frappuccino finish and stale coffee linger.
Light to medium, slight cling.

Plenty of coffee, both stale and fresh. A bit thin. Does as advertised, but nothing more.

Bought a 5gal corny from Oakshire at the Hellshire IV/ Barrel aged beer fest. $54 for 5 gal. Can you believe it? Love having this on tap in the keezer. Great coffee flavor on a solid stout backbone.

A - black with minimal tan head that quickly fades

N - roasty malt, light nose

T - roast, chocolate, quickly turning to coffee

M - light, low carbonation

O - tasty stout with light coffee flavor

From the 650 ml. bottle. Received from Beer Kangaroo. Sampled on February 15, 2014.

The pour is dark brown to near black and looks excellent. Soft tan head lingers for awhile.

It is an espresso stout and that is most obvious with the aroma with dark smoky malts and coffee grinds. Low hops.

The body is full and creamy.

The taste is a nice dose of coffee but there does not seem to be much in the way of caffeine. It is also rather milky and slightly bitter at the end. This is a stout worth having if you get the chance.
