Thanks to a generous someone for sharing this at DLD 2011. Served in a SAVOR snifter.
Pour yields an amber-colored brew with an off-white head that falls quickly without too much lacing. The nose brings some light bready malt plus a bit of light caramel sweetness in the background. Very mild hop presence. The flavor is mostly bread crust with a bit of toast as well as very mild toffee plus some caramel. Lightly candied. Medium body and good carbonation. Not bad.

Reviewed from notes (August 17, 2017). This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a hazy semi-dark red color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. The lacing was somewhat w there in a speckled messy sort of way. The smell had some toasted caramel malts and a light toffee backed up by a light nuttiness. The taste was basically the same. On the palate, this was about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation finishes somewhat crisp yet smooth. Overall, for the most part, this was a decent Amber/Red ale.
