Pours a hazy light copper color with a moderate-sized white head. Decent lacing on the side of the glass.

Aroma is pretty crisp with strong citrus fruit notes and a bit of a piney finish.

Has a pretty nice malt backbone to go along with a pretty good hop presence. Strong bitter citrus pull at the back of the palate. There is also a nice piney aftertaste. A pretty flavorful and hop-filled taste.

Moderate carbonation with quite a bit of hop/citrus sting.

Overall, this is a pretty nice IPA. A strong hop presence combined with a decent malt backbone makes for a pretty balanced beer. Nothing earth shattering here, but this is a pretty well-crafted and enjoyable brew.

Unfiltered. Hazy pale gold. Hope resin flavor comes on quick. Perfect carbonation. Goes down smooth with a crisp quick finish. Lingers pleasant hints of pine.

Color is a clear golden amber with a modest foam in the Affligem chalice. Floral scent and a light fruity flavor that reminds me of honeysuckle aroma.

Some resiny hops along with a sweet maltiness to start. Tangy and spritzy. Biscuity like a Pale Ale, but the expansive hop flavors take over. It's just not as bitter as many big hop brews. Piney and a little dank but there is a pleasant dry fruity and woody note. Pear skins and and an earthy finish. Plenty of bitterness for my taste.

This is a highly quaffable lighter stule of IPA. The milder, maltier finish adds to the drinkability but won't please acolytes of the bitter hop goddess. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Haggen's Market in Mount Vernon.

It really hits you with hop aroma and flavors, which seem a blend of citrus and floral, there's some piney astringency in the finish, but not until you get a nice dose of maltiness in the middle.
