A-I will lump the can into appearance. I hate this can. I forgot I put it into my fridge and when I noticed it again I thought someone left a rogue Miller High Life in there. The beers looks fine though. All orange and foamy and such.

S-Very zesty citrus medley. Pungent grapefruit, light lemons maybe even lime? It's got some pop to it, but not much in the way of complexity. Tangy orange juice.

T-Stressed grapefruit to the max, underlying pine. Oranges. After a few sips I get accustomed to its sneakily portly malt bill.

M-A truly bitter cup of 'the creature'. This one lingers in its bitterness. No booze. Relatively easy to drink.

O/D-A solid IPA. This one won't enlighten you with its intricacies but it's got plenty of pop.

For the style this beer did not hit the spot as expected with bitterness and flagship carbonation, seeking the missing strong presence of finishing hops was not hit first in the finish department for this dance.. A little dry a little piney and royally florally and the ladies didn't sing it home. Could have a couple of these with no complaints.

Poured into a Harpoon Leviathan. Thanks Josh

A- Nice thick, sticky head. Beautiful appearance.

S - Citrus notes up front. Not as sharp or pronounced as I thought. Rather subdued. Pleasant though.

T - very nice flavor. Just on the side of bitter in terms of balance. Great hop character. Malt is nicely in background. A slight honey note. Deceptive on abv.

M - Slightly thicker mouth than use to for style. Smooth though. Pleasant carbonation.

O - an excellent beer. Well balanced for the style and deceivingly drinkable. Would love this on the shelves here.

The excellent smell is almost immediate. The color reminds me of some beefy beers I had in Tourquey England. Cloudy deep color. First few taste had a good bitter aftertaste hanging around After consuming 1/2 glass I raised my initial rating. This one will grow on you.

Oakshire Brewing - Watershed IPA, poured into a DFH Spiegelau IPA glass.

Look - Pours a hazy copper amber with a glorious big bubbly soapy head that leaves chunks of lacing behind.

Smell - Only slight on the sweet malt, otherwise spice and resiny hop is at the forefront.

Taste - Subdued sweet caramel malt with a blast of pine and resin hops, terrific!

Mouthfeel - Rests dry and bitter. Slight malt hot boozy but not over the top. Good drinkability.

Overall - I was pleasantly surprised with this brew. Nice clean hop bitter blast AIPA. Well done!
