pours a clear pinkish-apricot hue with a light tan thin, bubbly cap that leaves just a spot of lace.

aroma is complex. cherries, a touch of wheat, a subtle hint of funk, and a touch of cherry and vinegar tartness.

tart cherries with a subtle bready, wheaty backbone. tartness and some bitter astringency. The pinot barrel is definitely present, although not as dominant as I'd expected. Delicious cherry tartness.

Mouth is a bit thin, without a ton of carbonation, yet it somehow works out alright. a striking drying astringency adds some character.

All in all, an impressive, unique, and interesting brew. one of my favorite cherry beers I've had, the pinot barrel really add some interesting notes, and makes me wonder what else Oakshire has tucked away in their barrels. (786 characters)
