pours a nice golden apple juice color with a light haze. a solid one-finger head fades to a thin lace atop that leaves minimal lacing.

aroma is citrusy hops. lemon. apple juice. honey, a hint of banana, and some definite spice aroma.

taste is juicy. apple and citrus, neutral bitter hops come through... herbal notes, spice, pepper. a bit more lemon, and a lingering citrus hop bitterness in the finish.

body is moderate for a 5% abv pale, with ample fine carbonation to give a good bit of body and lift. A lasting slightly dry finish has a lingering herbal bitterness.

I love rye beers, and I wish this one has a touch more rye spice to it. Regardless, it's a really solid, easy drinking, backyard sunshine kind of brew that really has some bright hoppy notes. If this wasn't a single-batch, one-time release, I'd be buying this one regularly.
