A: From the can to a pilsner glass, humbucker helles flowed forth like a face melting Friedman solo producing a huge 4 finger head. Bright white, pillowy and mixed sized bubbles, the foam receded slowly into the briliantly clear golden brew. A spiderweb esque lacing left on the edge once the foam finally fell into the depths of oblivion.
S: Moderate levels of fresh bread and biscuit like malt aromas with a clean german lager character. Hop aromas are also moderate in the noble spicy german hop realm. Very balanced.
T: The intro starts with clean noble hop bitterness and bready malt balanced nicely that builds up to a crescendo of more biscuit, toast and a hint of lemon. The beer finishes off with a lingering grainy, husky flavor that compliments the flavor profile very well.
M: Dry finish with moderate to high carbonation levels. The graininess left on the tongue after a few sips leaves a slight drying sensation.
O: Very balanced and clean, this is right up my ally for a great helles. Highly recommended, for lager lovers or people looking for a flavorful beer for warm weather.
