16.9oz : tulip
Clear, golden orange with a thick, foamy white head with nice retention and leaves great lacing.
Really surprised by the rather subdued hop profile. Some floral, grassy hop notes, but that is about it. A grainy, biscuit malt backing.
More grassy, floral, leafy hop notes, with the same grainy, biscuit malt backing. Bitter finish.
Medium body, with light, bubbly carbonation.
Not an unpleasant beer, but I was disappointed with the rather weak hop profile.

Poured from 500mL bottle into a pint glass.
Appearance: nice orange hue with a light haze and moderately strong effervescence. Head pours two fingers of frothy ivory foam; quite attractive!
Smell: moderate aroma of earthy, piney and citrusy hops. There's a little sweetness underpinning the hops as well. It's alright, but seems kind of muddled.
Taste: bright and almost tangy citrus hop character, with a strong sweetness and a bit of an alcohol bite. The bitterness at the end is a bit rough-and-ready. Decent, but again, this beer could be more polished.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a strong carbonation and a good creaminess for the style.
Overall: quite drinkable for its ABV, this beer has some formulation issues for me. I feel like the brightness of the bright hops is muted, and the earthier tones are a little bit forward for the sweetness level.

Became the beer of the year for me.
Overwhelmingly hoppy, then perfectly caramelly. Leaving you in a flavor bliss.
Captured the perfect essence of balance and pushed the limits of my senses. A fine example of an Oregon IPA, pushing it as far as it could go with hoppiness, but always rewarding you with sweetness for your journey.
On tap, unbeatable.
