Had this at their taproom/brewpub on-tap.
Pours a cloudy unfiltered light pale yellow/tan.
Bright lemon/citrus yeasty aroma. Bit of grain (noticably wheat) as it warms up a bit.
Taste is refreshingly bright. Yeast and some rice grain notes.
As it warmed up, I noted some floral and spice in the background. Overall a good Kolsch. Though it isn't one of my prefered styles, this one really impressed me. Nothing bland about it.

Pint poured on draft at Belmont Station's Biercafe. Slightly hazy golden body topped by a sizeable creamy head that sticks around for the duration, leaving beautiful lacing on the glass. Aroma of light Euro hops and some slightly off adjunct malt in the mix, along with a light sweetness of pale malt. Palate is well-balanced up front, but the malt succombs to the bittering hops by the end for a nice, bracing finish. Body is nice and creamy, but certainly not heavy. A great session beer - I could drink this all day. And I do.

Had a few samples (kept coming back for more) of this at the brewpub. This was a pleasant surprise in a land where typically the hops rule brewpubs. This had a lot of the subtle notes of a great Kolsch, such as that hint of sulfur. In this case the sulfur was just barely perceptible, so it didn't take away from the otherwise tasting floral and herbal Perle hops and bready grain. I'd be happy to drink a few pints of this. Heck of a session beer.

Served cloudy gold with a small white head. Fair amount of lacings. Aroma is floral hops. Taste is earthy, leather, light citrus bitter hops with a decent malt profile. Not very traditional but better for that flaw IMO. Very sessionable and judging by the short time I spent at DM Brewpub it is quite popular too. A blonde light bodied easy drinking beer with plenty of complex hop bitterness. Very nice beer.

Picked up at Brewforia Meridian last week for a very pricey $5... But well made. Pours a slightly hazed straw golden below a 1 finger stark white head that sticks around for a while and leaves good lacing.
Nose is pretty traditional... light pale maltiness ... slight bigger than standard grassy hoppiness.. Light fruitiness and a touch of sulfur.
Fairly dry throughout the palate, but there is enough residual maltiness to bring out a minerally/sulfur quality and accentuate a bigger than expected bitterness.. a little malt sweetness shows on the finish with warmth... hops are sorta spicy/grassy, but overall pretty light.
Body is light with a good carbonation.... very drinkable... I would buy this again if it wasn't so damn expensive.

Poured into a Sester stange. Pours a light golden amber with a fine three finger white head that is kept full by constant carbonation; lots of lacing during drinking. Aroma of crackery biscuit malt, wheat and light grassy hops. Flavor follows with well melded biscuit, slightly bready malt and grassy hops, finishing with a light pleasant hop bitterness. Light bodied as expected. A nicely made, to style, balanced kolsch, possibly a bit more hopped than traditional, but not by much. Its been a little while since I've had a German kolsch, but this really seems to be spot on. Nicely done.

a: slightly hazy bright golden yellow with a large 3 finger slightly marshmellow-like head
s: slightly pepper-like yeast right away. bright sweet lemons, tons of that nice bready dough aroma. balanced out by some nice sweet malt. finishes with some earthy mellow hops
t: that sweet citrus and pepper spice hit you right away. fades to a burnt bread flavor followed by some smooth sweet malts. finishes with a pretty nice earthiness - not bitter. a bit wheat
m: light and pretty carbonated
o: a nice lawnmowing beer. this is crisp and refreshing, yet at the same time offers a nice blend of flavors that provide a good taste without complicating it. very refreshing in a good day

16.9oz : tulip
Lightly hazy, golden yellow with a foamy, thick white head.
Cracker, biscuit malts with a light fruity tone and spicy, grassy hop profile.
Medium+ body, foamy carbonation.
A well done Kolsch. Full malt body, with an accentuating hop profile. A beer well suited for warm weather.
