Appearance is a striking copper with a full finger of head that retains well and leaves some intricate lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, but not overly so. This is a solid example of an East Coast IPA - nice malt and hop balance. The finish could stand to be a bit hoppier, but that is a small criticism considering this offering is truly a rare example of a sessionable IPA.

This brew pours an opaque golden color with a small one finger head and moderate lacing.
The smell is strong with pine and citrus hops, the pine dominates.
The taste is mostly pine hops with a malt backbone. There is a pine aftertaste left and hop oil left in the mouth after swallowing.
The mouthfeel is thick and bready; there is a slight bite due to the carbonation.
Overall this is not a bad IPA but it is plain, not complex. The taste is mostly pine and malt, not bad but a little more variety in the taste would be nice.
