A mildly hopped, strong German style lager with assertive malt character and a smooth mouthfeel. Perfectly rich and toasty to bring on the holiday cheer, prost!

On-tap at the brewpub
I was looking forward to a good bock, but this was a diacetyl-bomb. I was able to get some nice bready and sweet malts out of the flavor, but for the most part it was just big, creamy butterscotch. It didn't really taste bad, but it was way off for the style.

Pours a brownish copper with just about a finger of head. The nose has notes of sweet malt as well as some breadiness. The flavor follows the nose with the exception that the finish is far more hoppier than the nose would indicate.
Rarely will I say this but this offering was simply too hoppy for the style.
