Appearance: Poured from a bottle into a tulip. Pours a rich reddish orange with a two-finger head that quickly dissipates. Very little head retention.
Aroma: Oily, resinous, slightly herbal hop notes.
Taste: Barely present sweet malt character supports wave of intense hop bitterness. Hop character is more vegetal as opposed to citrus. Hint of alcohol.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, slightly oily. Very smooth
Overall: Surprisingly smooth and drinkable for being a 'Triple' IPA, however not overly complex. Hop character is potent but pretty monolithic.
Serving type: bottle
