Pours that slightly dehydrate urine color like Corona. Translucent with a ton of visible carb. Thick 2 1/2 finger foamy white head with medium retention and solid lacing.

Sour malt on the nose. Smells a little like vomit after a keg stand and a frat party.

Tastes like a standard, boring and typical embarrassment to beer like other adjunct American lagers. No real flavor to speak of. Maybe watered down pale malt.

Light bodied mouth with high carb.

Overall I think it's creative calling this an island lager, because the only time you might want to drink this flavorless embarrassment is if you were stranded on an island for months without water and a fire had ignited in your mouth that needed extinguishing.

White head disapears immediately. Light straw in color. Boring!

No aroma! None! My girlfriend says it smells like Coors Light.

Does this have taste? Grain, cereal and very light hops when I really search for some flavor.

Light body, medium carbonation, a little dry.

Your typical macro tasting lager. No taste, no smell, nothing special at all. I guess, no smell is better than a horrible smelling beer, the same goes for taste. This is a WEAK lawnmower beer. Drink water.

From 07/02/11 notes.

a - Pours a clear bright yellow color with two inches of white head and moderate carbonation evident.

s - Smells of corn, bread, grain, light vegetables. Not very good here, but not the worst adjunct lager I've had.

t - Tastes of corn, wheat, grain, light skunkiness, light vegetables. A step down from the nose.

m - Light body and high carbonation. Little bit watery body.

o - Overall not a very good beer, with some light skunkiness in the taste. Seems like a low(er) rent Corona to me. Wouldn't seek it out.

A: pours a pale golden color with about a quarter inch of white head that disappears quickly leaving a slight amount of lacing on the top of the beer and edge of the glass. There is a lot of carbonation rising to the top

S: adjunct corn malts, crispness from the carbonation, little hop balance

T: sweet adjunct corn malts, no hop presence but there is some balance

M: light bodied beer with a lot of carbonation

overall, this beer was left in my fridge by a friend, not the worst beer on earth but not something ill ever buy

Picked this up in a can at a party. The beer poured a pale yellow with a white head building, but collapsing right away. Little lacing on the glass.
The smell is lemon, lime, little else.
The taste is shallow citrus flavors and little malt. Somewhere there is a grainy flavor, but not much.
A very watery beer, probably meant for hot boat outings on the water . Would not be my choice in a beer store.

A- foamy head, very little retention, pale yellow color

S- citrus notes, not much of a smell

T- lemony light, typical domestic lager finish, not much going on here

M- light body which goes well with the lack of taste

All in all, this is an easy-to-drink light beer probably better suited to cooling you in the summer or getting you drunk than providing you with an exemplary taste experience.

Pours yellow gold with a big foamy white head, little retention. Nice clarity.

Adjunct corn and grain, some light herbal/green notes.

Adjunct with some strength of flavor. Corny malt with light bitterness in the end. Some boiled/mashed grain leading to a light sour note. Nothing watery though. They put this malt forward at least.

Medium-light in mouthfeel; some decent carbonation.

Not something I'll want again. Has some decent characteristics, but in the end, it its what it is.

Wow. It almost tastes like a malted beverage made to take on the appearance of beer. It did not have a distinct malt or hop flavor. It seemed overly carbonated. Perhaps that is why it did not have any distinction in taste or smell. I suppose I would reach for this before a wine cooler. Yikes.

Ok so we all love beer and we want to try as many as we can and enjoy them. Landshark will not receive or deserve an A or a B maybe, however, in its category of "hey dudes! watch this!" category of beer drinkers it is one of the better beers. That being said, it is middle of the road.

It is clear, yellow in color. Minimally bitter but little to no mouthfeel beyond the mild carbonation. Where it beats out Budweiser, Miller etc is the aftertaste isn't as offensive. Much to be desired but not the worst beer in the world.

Thanks to my neighbor Daniel for this beer. Once i got home I poured the rest into my goblet from proper tasting.

Appearance: Crystal clear straw yellow with a white head that settled into a thin film of bubbles.

Smell: Husky corn and honey notes with a hint of metallic and earth hops.

Taste: Corn flavor dominate the thin taste. No hops bitterness; no pleasant maltiness. One dimensional and not very good at that.

Mouthfeel: Thin bodied with a decent level of carbonation. The finish is short with some residual sweetness lingering in the aftertaste.

Overall: Probably better than most adjunct lagers, but really that is not saying much.

Pours a clear yellow color with a creamy 1 finger white head that faded and left decent spotty lacing; it looked like a fresh urine sample.

Smells of sweet malt, light caramel, corn, grass, light floral hops and grains; smells like a typical macro brew.

Tastes like it smells, with sweet malt, light caramel, corn, grass, light floral hops and grains; basically it's a lager and just OK.

Mouthfeel is light and crisp, with a light body, light carbonation and good drinkability; a light a refreshing beer that basically has no flavor. Pass on this one as it's just plain boring.

Poured a bright yellow with somewhat of a vanishing white head. It left some lacing, surprisingly.
It smells like light sour malt. I'm scared.
The taste is also sour. However, the malt doesn't have any metallic flavour, nor does it taste like Corona. I'm relieved. It's got a refreshing light body, but a decent, barely detectable malt flavour. For what it is, it is not a bad lager. I'd totally drink this on a beach or a hot day. Why not? It sure beats a Corona or a Heineken.
Mouthfeel is good. It's nice and light, which is the intention.

Drank this one from the cooler and out of the bottle. I've found putting these Adjunt Lagers into a glass actually makes them even less enjoyable.
A: Like water dyed with yellow food coloring.

S: Nothing but skunkiness.

T: Tastes as skunky as the nose would suggest. Not really any discernible flavors except a little corn. Nothing that makes this taste like beer.

M: blah mouthfeel. Very thin. It did have a fair amount of carbonation.

O:I wouldn't mind masking what little flavor this beer has with a lemon or a lime. The only good thing I can say about this beer is that I like it better than Corona.

outta school for the weekend thought id stop and grab some fish tacos. oh and you have beer? a crappy selection with one ive never tried? alright fine.

a - light piss like color (not a good start...) slightly tan? a decent amount of head but a pretty thin consistancy.

s - sweeter malts. stanky like a budweiser (nothing like a fresh hop. lighter and whimpier.

t - a little like a red stripe. more earthy natural notes. not a very clean finish. fades from in your face to a slightly malty aftertaste. low medium carbonation level.

m - no flavor just a quick rush of carbonation. maybe its the hot sauce from the tacos but theres really not much there.

o - meh. ill still stick with the red stripe if there isnt really any other options.

16oz can

Landshark Lager was pale yellow in color with good clarity. It had a white head with decent retention and lacing The smell was clean with cereal grain and a little sweetness. The taste was light grain and a bit sweet with a touch of hops. The finish was short and dry. It was light bodied with medium carbonation. Overall it's kind of boring, but would be just fine if outside on a hot day.

A: Has a very light pale yellow color. The head is white in color and is small to medium in size. There was a small amount of lace and no retention at all.
S: Has a very skunky smell typical of AAL beers. The corn and grain are somewhat prominent as well.
T: Sourness from the skunkiness is the first thing that you taste followed by the typical corn flavor in any AAL beer.
M: Very light and frothy, has plenty of drinkability if you can deal with the skunkiness. Has a fairly clean finish with a crisp bubbly taste.
O:This is a typical AAL beer, so because of that it’s a great American lager. Besides the sour taste you first get this beer is a great one to knock back on a hot day.

consumed directly from a 12oz. glass bottle. Had a second, adding the lime. Lime made a difference for the better.

Light taste, light smell, slight skunk. Can not help but compare this beer to Corona, and while most would agree not saying much, is noticeably better than any Corona offering. Not a lot to this beer, not a lot to review. I cannot imagine drinking this on a day less than 80 F, let alone in the winter. If it is complex flavors and balance you seek, look elsewhere.

Not much mouth feel, nor aftertaste. These go down VERY quick on a hot day. I think for poolside, beach, or after hot yardwork, not a bad selection, as it is refreshing.

Got to take this as it is, not a classic, but a refreshing summer pounder. I will enjoy again!

Wastin' away again in tickerville, lookin for a beer that I haven't sampled. Some people say that there's a woman to blame...but I know, it's the brother's fault.

Beer poured into a clear pint glass from a clear bottle without a date. It is yellow and clear with moderate steady carbonation, some lacing but nearly no lasting head.

Aroma is non-existent, Jimmy must have forgot about it.

Beer is super thin and nearly as remarkable as the aroma. Not at all. It is mildly sweet late and grainy throughout, at least there is a minimal aftertaste. Overall, gross. Excuse me for a moment, I blew out of flip flop, must have stepped on a pop top. And other disgusting lyrics to go with a gross beer.

A-Appearance is a light yellow color alot like corona. The head is small and short lived with good lacing.

S-It has a skunky sour smell with flavor to match

T-The beer is skunky from the clear bottle.
It also has a sour taste but not bad if paired with lime. The finish has a bud light feel.

M-Mouthfeel is over carbonated

O-Overall I was dissapointed because I am a jimmy buffet fan and it was not what I expected. I would drink if there was no other options.

A: Pours a pale golden or straw color.

S: I dont know what to exactly say it smells like..skunk maybe?

T: Tastes is like that of your typical AAL. Its not very heavy at all, a step up above light beer. What really had me was the after taste. Going down I wasnt really impressed, but for some reason the after taste had me wanting more, similar to Miller Lite, not fan of this or Miller Lite but there something about the after taste that makes me keep drinking it.

M: Smooth and seems not very carbinated.

D: Easy beer to pound several down at a bbq or after mowin the lawn.

O: Not a great beer..but I've had worse. If i were given the choice I'd take Corona over this. Very overpriced, High life and Coors original both taste better and are cheaper so I'll be going that route next time.

You have to grade this beer for what it is, an American adjunct lager.

Beer has a nice clean (i poured from a 16 oz can) aroma and crisp taste. Nice easy drinking beer any time and especially in the hot weather, which is what the beer tries to be..."Island style lager"

Not all beers need to be IIPA's to be good. If you want an easy drinking, well made American lager, give this beer a try

Lemony/grassy citrus hint maybe, but largely skunky scent truthfully. Not very appealing, but actually smells about the same as most macro lagers

Very light, almost to water with a pretty high level of carbonation.

Pale straw/golden and essentially clear. Poured to slight head with large very white bubbles initially with some mild lacing actually.

Not really much there, get a bit of a grassy taste maybe and a bad skunky finish that takes a few moments to clear out.

I guess it's drinkable yes, it isn't filling but I don't want another personally

This is rather horrific. The bad aftertaste and skunkiness add to what would otherwise just be non-descript and forgettable

Way to go Jimmy are making this boring excuse of a beer. This couldn't be more like Corona in any manner. I'm sure that adding a lime would help this beer along. It was skunky and kind of on the flat side. Very watery and bland. I don't plan on ever having this beer again. I don't think I'd order it even at a Jimmy Buffet concert in support of him. I apologize, but I just don't care for this brew.

A crisp, refreshing, watery light beer with a touch of skunk and citrus. That sums it up. It isn't bad for a hot day. The touch of citrus is nice, but the skunk makes the beer suck. It isn't as skunky as some clear bottles can be, but it is boring and watery. It does have overcarbonation and a crisp feel. Maybe a lime could make it drinkable.

A- Light yellow. Maybe 3/4 a inch of off white head. Little lacing.

S- Corn, sweet hops.

T- Water, and Corn.

M- Thin, good carbonation.

D- High.

I could through this back all day fishing or lawning the yard. It is light on the senses and watery but I think it is a good summer beer. Nothing special about it except its drinkability.
