Left at my house by a guest....gee, thanks.
Pours a clear yellow, very little head that fades quickly.
Almost no discernable smell, some light citrus maybe, weak vegetal notes.
Taste is almost nonexistent, very weak typical lager notes, weak straw, slight citrus, fizzy for no apparent reason.
No apparent mouthfeel, slides down like water.
I guess it's drinkable but....why?

Had this at a pizza restaurant a while back and man was this a letdown. I didn't expect much from it, but even then this stuff was the most overhyped beer I had heard about.

Appearance was bland, boring and as yellow as you can get.

Smell was nonexistent with a fair amount of corn. Nothing special, especially for almost $3 a bottle.

Taste was a major letdown. As I said before, I didn't expect much from this at all, but the taste felt unfinished. There was no aftertaste, and the moment it goes in the mouth, the flavor dissipates. It just becomes overly glorified water. Definitely not worth the trouble.

Mouthfeel was very watery and non-filling. This stuff goes down easy, but it's expensive for what it seems just to be an American Corona.

Drinkability was really not worth it. I had the one with dinner a while back and it's the only one I've had to date. Definitely not worth the money.

There is nothing really special about this beer.

Clear (bad start) long neck bottle with shark fin emblazoned

A- pale gold, thin, stark white foam head forms for several nanoseconds, then loses retention and nothing is left.

S- faint grains, not much else

T- clean enough, slight slight slight hops

M- crisp, tingly feel. kind of a skunk aftertaste.

O- slightly below average on the overall beer scale. Not complete swill though. If this was your only option it wouldn't be so bad...as long as it is 90 degrees outside and Jimmy Buffet is buying it for you.

Light gold in color.Has a slight (citrus) lemon odor that gives it a "clean" feel and taste.
Had decent body and sweet maltiness and poured with a fair head, but retention was, at best, mediocre. Did not find it grainy but clean.
IMO easily better than Corona and for its Lager style better than some but it also overpriced at 7.99 a six pack. In that price range I don't see the value.
If it was 20% less in price I might have given it a break or two in the ratings.

A: Light yellow with no head left after a minute. Spottie lacing.

S: Nearly no smell at all. Lightly grainy and sour.

T: A little bitter and completely unremarkable.

M: Slightly carbonated and very light.

D: Dont think I will be trying this again.

Not bad at all, Overall this one is fairly plain and average, I wish it was a little more full bodied, this one could have been a little more enjoyable for the price that I paid for it. Overall I would not turn this beer down if someone offered it to me for free.

12oz bottle served in a pilsner glass.

L - clear, light yellow with a white head that fell to a white ring.

S - grainy and sour aroma.

T - grainy flavors with some bitterness, leaves a sweet after taste on the lips.

F - light body with ok carbonation.

D - why?

I was expecting another Corona type beer...
(thin and very little flavor, but a nice lawnmower brew.)
I was pleasantly surprised when I took the first sip...more body and malt came through. I felt it was well balanced for the style.
I would put this a step above Corona. As an American style lager I would rate this one better than many. A good session beer.

Appearance: Crystal clear and light gold in color.

Smell: Slight hint of citrus.

Taste: Mild hops bitternes with some tartness and smooth creamy malt flavor.

Mouthfeel: Crisp and refreshing.

Drinkability: I disagree with all the "beer snobs" that slammed this beer. It's truly refreshing and went great with my take home meal from Taco Bell. This is a great summertime or session beer. This is a beer that can go head to head with Mexico's Corona Extra (which I like in the summertime).

This beer was $3 at an amusement park, served in a plastic cup. It looked extremely clear, yellow as corn, very thin head. The smell was a little like sweet corn and maybe a little malt. The taste was not bad at all for the style, but definitely corn came out as the predominant note again. Easy to drink, but I chose to have only one. Not interesting enough to try again.

A- Pours a crystal clear pale yellow, with a one finger pure white head. No retention and nothing left behind.

S- Mild raw grain flavor, not much else....

F- Mildly sweet with only the slightest hint of malt flavor. If you dig deep you can find a bit of corn flavor as well. It actually has less flavor than a Corona.

M- Thin, insipid, and unremarkable.

D- Reasonably enjoyable outside with friends. It would be easy to drink this all night long, although it wouldn't be anything exciting.

Overall pretty boring in general. One thing I will give it, is that it is relatively clean. Aside from just a hint corn on the flavor, it is a step up from your standard Corona. Either way, at $8.49 for a six pack, I won't be buying it again anytime soon.

Purchased as part of "build-your-own-six-pack" at local grocer. Poured very light yellow, medium head. I can sum this up with one sentence: smelled, tasted, and felt like a generic lager. Nothing interesting in the least. It's not terrible, but there's just no reason to run out and get it...not a "gotta have" beer.

$8.99 6-pack overpriced Budwisser clone.

A- way too yellow to be natural (probably color additives); loads of small bubble carbonation in the fluid, a dishwater-lifeless mild head which faded as quickly as my $8.99; lacing left a ring around the glass stein like the kind you don't want in your sink after dishwashing.

S= mild hints of florals, mostly mild corn notes and a hint of chemical-spill.

T= watery, weak, with a slight stale laundry-starch bitter bite, overloads of gastrointestinal gas-inducing carbonation, not even on par with macro-Bud.

M= like getting some gal's makeup in your mouth after a kiss. Flatness on the tongue, lingering hints of chemical-exposure.

D= RUN the other way. If you're really really thirsty, it's a very hot summer day and you have no true love or knowledge of good beer, you'd probably sorta think it was okay.

Was advertised in local watering hole as a Corona like beer. The taste is a lot thinner with no real aftertaste. They served with lime (I hate that)but ordered a second without. Seems trendy without much substance. Sweet flavor without much to it. Priced higher than much better beers. Watchout for Landshark.

S: Mostly grainy, corn scent.

T: Grainy, corn taste, quite watery, although fairly refreshing.

M: Thin, light, watery mouthfeel with lots of carbonation.

D: Easy drinker, nothing really notable just an ordinary over-priced macro-lager.

Bought a 6 pack at the local market- ( limited beer selection there...) Initial appearance is good, packaging catchy, eye appealing- 1st taste set the tone ... very strong yeasty taste( think labat blue aftertaste- very similar) strong notes of corn, light head disapears quickly, little , if any leftover lacing present. same price as Corona- there is better beer value out there in a lager!!! at 7.99, (a bit pricey for a domestic macrobrew )i'd head to the SteinLager, or for a few pennies more, Catch the Carlsberg Train !!!

As a Buffett fan, i had to try this. It wasn't bad, it is a little expensive to what you get. To me, it has a little more flavor then Carona (which isn't too hard)
This beer is a good summer time, outdoor beer. It is not great, it isn't bad, it is very drinakable. Good pool party/beach beer.

A: Poured a brilliantly clear miller genuine gold with a foamy 1 finger white head that lasted for several minutes before settling to a patchy layering with a rim lacing. There was a medium-strong visible carbonation presence detected.

S: very light in nature with some fresh corn and not much else to speak of.

T: started out with some clean fresh corn and light malt sweetness. There was a light dry herbal hopping providing some bitterness but was faint. The flavor was clean and very crisp and nicely balanced and brewed with hardly any off flavors or flaws detected. While not big on flavor this beer was especially clean and non-offending and hard to fault it for what it is, a light lager.

M: very light, oily and slippery with some dry bittering hops coming through.

D: Actually not to bad of a drink. Would chose this clearly over any of the other macro-light lagers. A perfect beer for the tropical beaches or islands and very cleanly brewed. A ok try for the skeptics.

Landshark Lager, a product of of the "Margaritaville Brewing
Company©", pours a stiff white head over a clear yellow brew-
a color that could be, unchairitabley, compared to urine.
Carbonation is initially very active, slowing down. The nose is
typical macro adjunct lager- a slightly sour corn and rice funk.
The flavor is thin, a little sour- just like Corona©- no doubt, in
fact, because it is that same chucklehead yahoo Corona-drinking
demographic they are after with this beer. Mouthfeel is thin, but
not that crisp. I'm sure it will do okay in college towns.

Poured a light pale yellow with a big white head.

Had a very light corny smell.

Taste, just a touch of grain and corn. Thats it, as tasteless as the lightest of light beers.

Mouthfeel is thin and watery.

Nothing offensive about it other than the complete lack of flavor and origiinality. I can't beleive that people just seem to buy anything that Buffett sells. Thats why I like to call this beer its more appropriate name, Landsheep.

Just your average American macro disguised as a micro. It seemed to me like a mixture between Bud Light and Corona. It doesn't have the skunkiness of Corona though. I wouldn't recommend it but it could be a decent beer on a hot summer afternoon after working in the yard. It goes down pretty easily so you could enjoy several without thinking of it. Not going to go into a complex review. It is what it is. Considering it's Jimmy Buffet's signature brew from Anheuser-Busch, I didn't expect much and I didn't get much.

Good beer to sip in the sun outdoors in the summer. Similar to a Corona- but better. Drawback is the price $7.49 for a 6 pack here. The bottles are HUGE - tall and heavy. It really made by Miller but under the code name Margaritaville Brewing. So you are paying micro price for a macro beer.

As one friend put it, this is beach beer, nothing more. There's a just a mild, pale grain taste with a touch of veggies. It's not terribly tasty, but it's also mostly inoffensive and would probably go well with a slice of citrus. The aroma is mostly bready and that carries over into the flavor as well. I wouldn't have this beer by choice, but when given a free bottle (such is the case now) I don't mind washing down some food with it.

A- clear yellow color with a head that doesnt last more than a second or two.

S- corn, some sweetness, and cereal

T- corn wet cereal soggy taste. like someone left corn flakes in a vat of water for a few days, skimmed out the chunks and voila. tastes like someone just dumped yeast/bread on my tongue and not beer.

M- thin bubbly and watery.

D- absolutely one of the worst beers I have had. I really can't describe the horrid shuddering aftertaste mine had. I hope that this was just a weird bottle and they wouldn't vend something like this. NOT recommended in any way

Drank this one straight out of the bottle as I am sure it was intended. Not a beer that really needs any complex analysis, just a simple easy drinking American macro beer. There are certainly worse and plenty that are better.

The price tag is too high for what this is but if you're an American macro lager drinker you'll probably like it.
