On tap at margaritaville in Vegas

A- a soft brown body appearance with no head or lacing on the sides. Slightly clear with no carbonation.

S- slight caramel and sugary scent. Faint and light

T- decent caramel and nutty tastes that's pretty smooth. Sweet flavor meshes well with the body of the brew

M- mild carbonation is well positioned with the flavor

O- not the worst tasting brown ale I've had from a macro themed restaurant

As said in previous reviews this is the house beer for Margaritaville. I had a glass of this on a recent visit to vegas. It was pretty standard, didn't really stand out in any way, more like a macro beer with a brown color.

Appearance is dark brown with a very fizzy head, more like a soda than a beer.

Aroma was non existent with a little hint of malt.

Flavor was fizzy without much other taste. I was craving tequila by this time.

I'd say don't waste your time on this.

I am going to assume that this is the correct maker since I had this at Margaritaville in Myrtle Beach.
A- It has a brown solid color with a good head and lacing. Bubbly.
S- There's a sweetness to it, let's say caramel.
T- Smooth and malty, the caramel is what is coming through. Bland in some ways, but solid. Nothing special, but a good generic beer. Not like an AMerican Macro generic, just a solid brown ale.

Had on-tap at the Jimmy Buffett Margaritaville in Panama City Beach, Florida.

Deep clear, copper color with a slightly off-white head.

Not much here: a little hint of hops and malt.

I thought I was drinking a amber lager as the "ale" had the clean refreshing taste of a lager. Perhaps it is a hybrid; certainly not a brown ale. All the same it was enjoyable.

Moderate carbonation with a very clean mouthfeel. Nothing complex about it.

I was surprised at the negative reviews here. Sure, it is not an ale, but it is tasty and drinkable.

On tap at Margaritaville at City Walk in Orlando. I should have known to stay away from this one after trying Landshark Lager a few months ago at the Vegas outpost of this chain. But I thought a red ale would be a rather safe bet. Nah!

Pours a muddy amber color with a creamy white head and a bit of lacing. Smells like not much, maybe a tiny bit of malt. Taste is really bad, sour with some malt behind. Light in body and crisp, the mouthfeel is not bad if you can only get the taste out of your mouth. No thanks.

guess everyone got turned off by the landshark lager. had this at Jimmy's restaurnat at universal FL.

A - nice brown color with a good white head
S - slightly sweet caramel and coconut aromas
t - slightly sweet caramel brown ale with an undertone of steady coconut.
m - medium light bodied, nicely carbonated, light sweet finish.
d - complimentary to dinner, nice at one, enough at 2.

Came to me in a non chilled glass. Was a dark copper color with an inch off white head which disappeared quickly. Smell was almost non existent. Had slight sweet smell. Taste was of mineral(tin) and mustiness. It wasn't horrible. It was much better than the Landshark Lager.
