A: pours a lightly yellowish-amber, moderately carbonated, white foam, little lacing.
S: mild yet balanced between malt and hop notes, light spicy-sweetness is noticeable.
T: begins crisp, yielding to taste similar to the scent, balanced between lightly sweet, slightly buttery maltiness, and a light spicy bitter hoppiness, finish is consistently similar.
O: balanced and basic, would be a good casually drinking session beer, nothing too noteworthy.

Probably one of nastiest brews I’ve had in FL. Bitter and taste reeks of fermented grapefruit. I cannot see how anyone could drink this at the beach without having the need to wretch afterwards. Disgusting if your looking to quench your thirst. Extremely bitter aftertaste that does not impress. Give me a ice cold German lager instead.

Long on looks but not too long on flavor. Perfectly decent but ultimately forgettable.

Hoppier than a typical lager, but a fine accompaniment to a beach day. Pour this caramel-colored beer into a glass and put your feet in the sand. Cheers!

Clear amber appearance with a beige head. Mild aroma of malt syrup, gentle caramel and light fruity notes. Similar flavor, malty and light with a touch of hop bitterness. Light and crisp with a plain finish.

After reading through some of the reviews I'm a bit confused as to what people are drinking because this beer although I wouldn't call it a summer beer, it goes down real smooth with an excellent taste and no foul aftertaste like many of the high-quality beers I have tried. Not to mention it is one of your more inexpensive six packs that you can find at a store for 8.99 which is generally a dollar or two less than your average premium six pack. It has a copper color, smells like a lager which is good & the taste has me wanting more. It is your everyday beer although it wouldn't be one of my top choices to drink on a beach being that it is brewed in Key West. Overall quality beer at an excellent price.

I got this as part of a fund raising raffle. As was the case with most of the beers in the basket, I rolled my eyes and thought "why me" but it's perfectly fine as an inoffensive American Amber/Red Ale that isn't as overly hopped as everything else seems to be these days. There's no need to be snobby over this pleasantly malty thirst quencher. Plus it's free, kind of, and went for a good cause (successful kidney donation from a son to his father).
