Poured from a 12oz bottle into a 20oz imperial pint. Thanks to neubernie for this from his most recent trip to FL!

A: Pours a hazy, pale peach color with a soapy/pillowy, slightly off-white head that stuck around for a while and left an impressive amount of lace behind. Carbonation was better than average.

S: Light lemony hops and mild maltiness coupled with and odd mixture of perfume, slight graininess, and a slight metallic aroma.

T: Thankfully the metallic perfuminess of the smell didn't fully transfer over to the taste. Mild floral and citrus hops with a grainy malt flavor. Caramel flavor comes out as it warms.

M: Touch of sweetness that leads right into an earthy bitterness that continues through the middle and on through the finish.

D: A nice APA that doesn't break into any new territory, yet is very pleasant and refreshing.

bottle received from markwise in the review this! bif!!

a- bottle poured into a pint, one finger of head that fades to a complete covering of lace with large bubbles around the glass, tawny honey colored, very adorable dogs on the label.

s- very mild nose - some dry malt, lemony hops, slight grain, slightly metallic

t- taste pretty much echos the nose but thankfully i don't get any metallic notes, it's very mild but far from tasteless. it's got some nice floral hoppy bitters to round it out which i'm enjoying.

m- nice and light with some slickness.

d- this is a very unoffensive, enjoyable apa, very sessionable. this is a great 'sit out on the porch and have a beer' beer - and i would do so if it wasn't twentyfour degrees out! thanks for this one markwise, a solid mildly balanced apa that i wouldn't have gotten to try otherwise.

This is actually a nice looking beer. Pours a nice light golden color with a respectab;e head that lasts. Nice carbonation dancing in the glass.

Smells of light malts, some grain, and a little hoppy bite. Nothing special, but still smells the way it should.

Taste is like the smell. I really like the sweetness of the malts, but the bitter balance is a little light. Not bad, though.

In the mouth it is a little thin. Too bad, it was going so well...

This one is pretty drinkable. It's not my usual style, but it's pretty good.

12 oz bottle from a $4.99 six pack bought at Ward's Supermarket

A: pours a clear medium honey amber color with a delicate off-white head that slowly fades

S: aroma is well balanced between malt and hops, though less hops than most brews of this style

T: taste of hops is more evident than in the aroma, but the citric hop finish does not overpower the tongue

M: mouth feel is somewhat light with moderate to low carbonation -- just as a pale ale should be (IMHO)

D: I got through two, but did not want a third

Overall, this is a great pale ale for the price -- definitely worth trying if you enjoy a pale ale with less hops bite.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a pint glass.

Appears a clear golden-orange in color with a half inch off-white head.

Aroma is fairly bland with a grainy maltiness, some floral hops, and a bit of a metallic tinge.

Taste is straight-forward enough - piney hops with a slight citrus character with a grainy malt backbone.

Mouthfeel is light, too thin for me, but it makes up a little bit in carbonation level.

Basically just a run of the mill pale ale. Nothing special about it and I have no desire to have it again.

Pours a nice amber color, hardly produce any head.

Very mild tasting beer. It has some hints of citrus to the taste.

The feel of this beer in your mouth is very light.

This beer needs a little work but worth a shot if you are looking just to try something new.

12oz bottle, thanks Chemmie!

Pours a semi-transparent orange brown color with a small white screen of a head and some sticking. Mild nose of fresh hops. Slightly syrupy to the tongue, sweet coating malts, some yeasty spice esters. Spicy hops with subtle citrusy, grapefruit twangs, peppery and toasty. Odd, not quite defined, in fact it lacks character because of it. Needs tweeking.

12oz bottle

A- Pours a nice orange amber color with an off-white head.

S- The aroma is pretty decent. There is a lot of malt for the style, with some hops as well. Not quite enough hops in the aroma for an APA, but not pretty good nonetheless.

T- The taste shows off a lot more hops than evident in the aroma, with a sharp citric hop bite in the finish.

M- The mouthfeel is light bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation.

D- Not a bad brew, I don't know if I would purchase this one again because of all the other great Pale Ale's on the market but this one was enjoyable.

Overall, this is a pretty decent brew that is worth picking up and trying.

Lukaya Beer Two Tail Pale Ale pours a light copper color with an off white head from a brown twelve ounce bottle featuring a pair of dogs on the label. The aroma is on the malty side, there is a bit of citrusy hop aroma too. The hops aren't very citrusy, more piney. A bit thin on the mouthfeel perhaps. Not bad. The label says this beer is "bottled for the Hmielewski family by Florida Beer Company Melbourne, FL."

Thanks to ibrew2or3 for this one.

A: Pours a nice golden hue with an average sized head. Shows good retention and active carbonation.

S: Light toasty malt with a small blast of citrus hops.

T: Fairly mild by APA standards. Slightly roasty malt up front with a nice touch of bitter citrus and floral hops in the middle in finish.

M: Medium in body with good carbonation.

D: Not a favorite APA of mine, but pretty drinkable nonetheless.
