Amber to brown color. Clear minor head which leaves a few spots on the glass
Sweeter smell but more of malt sugars than maple syrup. Weak nose.
Sweet with a definitive maple syrup flavor. Rich body with a higher carbonation. The finish is brief with a bit of lingering sugar.

Bottle: Poured a deep brown color ale with a nice foamy head with some good retention. Aroma of primary sugar with some weird overcooked vegetable. Taste is also dominated by gross sugar as well as this vegetable notes that didnt agree with my taste buds. No important malt or hops could be detected. Body was about average with some good carbonation. Another disappointing maple beer that makes me wonders why brewers insist on brewing them.

500 ml brown bottle.
A- Coppery red amber that is fairly dark. Pale beige head that decreasses too rapidly and eventually dissappears leaving nothing behind. Some bubbliness in the beer.
S- Touch of yeast. Very faint maple. Smokiness behind the maple.
T- The front has a fairly strong alcohol and sugar taste. Decent maltiness. Some plum and other dried fruit flavours in the background. Faint hint of maple syrup.
MF- Full bodied ale. Good.
D- More of a cold weather sipping beer with a warming feel. Good as such.

Another sampling at Pub Le Mitan.
This darker chestnut-amber brew had very little head formation.
Aroma was malty sweetness. The drinking experience of this ale was very nice...some sweetness up front and a hint of maple (erable), then very well-balanced hoppy bitterness came in and carried through to the finish...a lovely hint of maple flavor reappearing in the aftertaste. This was a really nice and uniquely Canadian brew, we really enjoyed it.
