A- pours dark brown with a big two-finger foamy and frothy light tan head that continues to float on top long after the pour, leaving behind a few patches of lace

S- lots of toasted brown bread with some chocolaty undertones, biscuity malt, earthy peat aromas with a light herbal/grassy hop finish

T- smoky malts with some slightly burnt toast and charred notes, dry chocolate and toffee, earthy hop with a somewhat dry finish, slight hoppy herbal linger

M- somewhat light body and low carbonation, but silky and creamy which leads to a filling mouthfeel, velvety finish. One of the most quaffable porters I've had to date

O- this is one of the most drinkable porters that I've ever had, mouthfeel us so smooth and creamy that I could probably tackle a whole 6pack in one setting. Overall, awesome traditional porter flavors

A - Pours pitch black with minimal head.

S - Typical porter coffee and chocolate, burnt caramel malt as well. There is a crispness. Overall the aroma is subdued.

T - Taste is almost identical to the aroma. Chocolate and malts at first turning to coffee with a hint of bitterness on the swallow. That metallic flavor is there as well, if just barely. Light overall.

M - Medium body with relatively high carbonation for the style.

O - Good porter, but could use to be a little bolder in the aroma and flavor and a bit heavier. Wouldn't turn one down, but not on my list of top porters.
