I live 5 minutes from the brewery, so I went and the owner gave me a one on one tour and I bought some growlers. I couldn't wait to try their IPA, and it was wonderful.
A: Orange/copper, the head dissapeared quickly, but gives a nice lacing in the glass.
S: Flowery, heavy grapefruit, more than other IPAs I have tried.
T: Very good, and different than the run of the mill IPAs out there. They told me they use Simcoe, Amarillo, and Crystal hops. Gives a very refreshing, flavorful taste. Definitely one of my new favorite IPAs. Well balanced with Munich 40 malts.
M: Lightly carbonated, wonderful hop aftertaste.
D: It boasts a 7% ABV, and I couldn't tell. The alcohol is well hidden, and I could defintely make this a session beer, and would love to have a keg of it!
They are a small brewery and they take pride in their beer. I love supporting these smaller DIY breweries. If you can visit, it is worth the trip. It is very close to the historic Plymouth waterfront, so on your way to the Cape, check out the brewery.
