Picked-up a Mayflower Compact mixed-twelve pack of cans at Bradford's in Plymouth for about sixteen dollars. This style is not generally my cup of tea, but this is a very crisp, smooth, drinkable brew. Reminds me of a Molson Golden.

A very smooth, drinkable beer especially for the summer. Some Wheat and bread tastes come through with just enough bite on the finish to make it refreshing. A good beer for summer visitors. Purchased at Town Center.

The appearance has a clear golden color; is very transparent, has a very foamy white head that dies within thirty seconds leaving a messy foamy lacing sticking to the sides of the glass. The smell has some sweet corn in the front and shows a somewhat grasy aspect to it The taste is mainly sweet through the sweet corn. The grassiness helps to balance. There is a clean dry sweet aftertaste with a dry finish. On the palate, she sits light on the body, comes across pretty sessionable as this would go pretty well with its respected food. Carbonation is pretty smooth - good for the style and good for me. Overall, this is a pretty good American Blonde Ale that I would have again with its respected food or as the weather gets warmer.

L - Poured into a Grey Sail Pint glass. Light straw color with little to no foam or lacing. Will try a more aggressive pour next time.
S - No aroma that I could pick up.
T - Given the lack of aroma, I was pleasantly surprised by the rich and complex flavor - strong malty backbone with a smooth finish.
F - Smooth and easy drinking.
O - Reminds me of Foolproof's Barstool. A very decent summer session ale and worth trying more than once.

Pours a clear, pale orange and crowned with two-fingers of airy white froth. Carbonation is going wild. Light fruits such as pear and orange along with faint grain to the nose. Fruity, sweet and bitter in the all the right places. Light yet flavorful. I won't fall into the trap of over-describing a beer like this, so just trust me, it's damn good.
