A - Arrived a copper color with an inch or so of head. Darker than I expected. Bubbly head lasted longer than I expected, but didn't really leave any lacing. Nice looking beer.
S - Nothing significant, but a nice mix of citrus hops and light malt.
T - Follows the nose. Basic, but really nice. The cask absolutely imparted a woody character to the beer. Lots of subtleties.
M- Medium bodied and soft. Not flat like I expected from a cask.
O - Great experience. Hard to judge based on the cask preparation. It's nice to have a beer at a bar that has carbonation and isn't freezing cold. Would buy again!

Inch tall off white dense-bubbled head. Body is a red/mahogany color. Sticky spiderweb lacing, good head retention.
Rich toasted caramel flavors with a biting hop profile. Would guess more than the stated 5.3%abv just because it packs the flavor so well.
Medium carbonation, medium-full mouthfeel.
Enjoying the prickly hop bite on this one. Thanks mj0126 for this great local beer!

Bottled 1/31/14. Current date 3/7/14.
Poured an attractive amber color in a stein with a 4 finger head which
resolved itself in a few minutes.
Aroma- very strong pine with a hint of vanilla.
The mouth feel is carbonated yet not overdone.
The aroma transitions nicely to the piney taste, which is not as accentuated as the aroma.
The beer finishes with good hoppiness followed by a light bitterness.
Overall, a very good beer. I would have liked a bit more fruit and pine in the taste.
The hoppiness was quite good and the finish was smoother/lighter than other beers in the style.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle that appears to be stamped 1/30/13. Sampled on June 18, 2013.
The pour is a very attractive medium amber but there's little to no head and the carbonation seems a little slow and stagnant.
The aroma has a fine floral character like the blossoms of a New England spring. Also a moderate caramel malt character but it it still overpowered by the hops.
The body is medium with a vague acidic texture.
Wonderful hoppy taste with additional flavors of biscuit malts and sweetness. But even though the hops are predominant they still do not result in a biting bitterness.
