Review from notes taken yesterday at the brewpub.

"WARNING!! This stout will send you to the west coast without the 4 hour flight! The medium body pairs well with an aggressive roasted character matched only by a hop complexity you won’t forget!!"

This brew appears a very dark brown to almost black color with a severely dark tanned to brown head. The aroma of this brew is a mixture of coffee, burnt grains coming across a bit like chocolate and slightly sweet smelling with a touch of hops. The taste of this brew is all roasty grain bitterness upfront with coffee and a sweet dark grainy flavor that is left lingering in the mouth. This is a medium to full bodied brew with a light touch of carbonation. The aftertaste of this brew is mostly roasty dark chocolate malt. Super drinkable, smooth and very enjoyable offering from this brewpub. (856 characters)
