"This medium bodied red ale was brewed with oatmeal, giving it a silky smooth malt character. Have a few of these and sow the night away!!!! "
A - Dark brown in color with a slight tan head.
S - Smells of slight oats with caramel body and a bit of hops. Interesting since I though I was getting a stout.
T - Most interesting beer I had in a while. Starts off like a red ale with toffee sweetness then rounds to a bit of sweet oat which is weird for a red ale but it works and then a slight bit of hops. Wow this is complex.
M - Medium body for sure. I drank it pretty slowly to enjoy it.
Overall I hope this is a start to incorporate more oatmeal flavors in more than just stouts. Adds a bit of sweetness and spice to any brew. Man I love experimental brews.
