Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy pumpkin color with a one finger head; decent retention with some squiggles of lace
Smell: Roasted pumpkin aromatics with hints of pie spice and vanilla with some sweetness
Taste: Real pumpkin flavors, up front, with just a hint of pie spice; the vanilla emerges in the middle and lingers into the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Not as sweet on the palate as I thought it would be from the aroma though that is not to say there is no sweetness; not as filled with pie spices as many other examples of the style
Thanks, Preluderl, for the opportunity

A very nice surprise from this, the latest of my belt notches for pumpkin ales...
Right out of the can this brew impressed - nicely hued pumpkin coloration with thin foam. The smell was very light on the booze and more noticeable but muted on the pumpkin, but still it was appealing to the nose. Mouthfeel, though somewhat full-bodied was overpowered by the carbonation. I really enjoyed the boozy taste of pumpkins without being overly so, some other brews just blast you with alcohol, and though this is at about 8%, it's not very noticeable...until later. Overall, I enjoyed this, a solid enough pumpkin ale coming out of western PA.

This pumpkin beer is a pleasant surprise.
It pours a orange tinge of golden with very little head. The aroma is moderately sweet, malty, pumpkin pie, The taste is warm, malty pumpkin with a very boozy finish.
Recommended. This would be one to get a bunch of this fall (while we can).

Sweet, malty, and not overly spicy. Strong vanilla notes. Very drinkable. This is one of the best pumpkin beers I've had in years. 12oz can poured into pilsner glass.

Bought this from the general store a block from my house.
A- body is a transparent Amber hue. Pours with a two finger or so off white foamy head that quickly fades to a thin collar.
S- Nose is full of pumpkin spice and vanilla. Smells a lot more like a pumpkin pie style rather than a true pumpkin ale.
T- flavor is much like the smell. Lots of pumpkin and pumpkin spice upfront with a smooth vanilla backbone. Finish has a hint of alcohol heat but the boozy flavor is definitely masked by intense pumpkin pie flavor.
F- medium carbonation and medium weight body. There is a bit of powdery spice and alcohol to the feel.
O- overall this is a top notch pumpkin beer. Reminds me a lot of what pumpking used to be 10 years ago. Definitely a recommendation for anyone into the pumpkin spice fall craze. I also love the vanilla to this brew.

Medium amber/orange brew that is almost see through with a quickly thinning off white head. Certainly has the scent of pumpkin and sweetness and not much else. Pretty good flavor for this pumpkin ale , it's pumpkin and slightly sweet without being cloying. There is the slightest bite to the start but no bite or bitterness to the finish. Ample carbonation and a somewhat creamy feel with no detectable heat from this 8% beer.
