By far the best beer selection in all of Paulding County. A little pricey, but exploring all the different offerings makes it worthwhile.
The selection is impressive. For example, they had three Aecht Schlenkerla beers (Lager, Weisen, and the Märzen - of which I got the last bottle.) They have a large display of Innis & Gunn (my girlfriends favorite,) and it was sheer delight to find they offer Old Speckled Hen (my favorite) and Gulden Draak, a beer I discovered at the Brick Store Pub in Decatur. They currently have a fantastic seasonal display of Oktoberfest and pumpkin-spiced beers for Fall, and their staff knows beer and can make suggestions.
I genuinely look forward to each trip to Highland Beverage.

Considering where this is located, you can't beat Highland Beverage. The market for craft beers isn't too great this far west of the city but this store serves our niche market very well. Very good selection of domestic beers (not close to Greens good, but ya know). Decent to poor selection of imports. The best thing about this store, imo, is that seasonals that come in or special releases, the owner makes an effort to get them and no one buys them. So an absolutely spectacular release like Hopslam sits on his shelf for over a month waiting to be purchased. It's ridiculously great. Of course, the downside is that some of the brews, especially IPAs, that don't have "best by" dates you really don't have any idea how long the stuff has been sitting on the shelves.

Jim is a GREAT guy who wants to sell good beer. This is the main reason you should visit this place. Dallas and Hiram are not meccas for craft beer drinkers but this guy continues to pull in great beers and can actually talk about them knowlegeably. Heck, he even called one of his beer reps to ask a couple of questions for me while I waited in the store. I have never had someone at a store go above and beyond like that. Normally I get a "sorry. I don't know" and that is it... NOT HERE! His prices are quite good for craft beers and, though the selection is not quite as good as Arbor Place, I will be visitng him more based on price and his attitude alone.
