Pat's is under new ownership and you can definitely tell the difference.
The craft selection here is much better than it was with the old owner, their craft section is catorgorized by region and the employees know their craft beer.unlike other beer distributors in the area I have never bought an old case of craft beer that has sat on a shelf for an extended period. The staff here is always friendly and very helpful. Each time i go in to buy a case I always have a good conversation with "Brian" with the bald head about craft beer which makes for an enjoyable beer shopping experience. Prices are compareable to the other beer distributors in the area.

This is a review for Pat's Beverages on East High Street in Pottstown. I believe this is under new ownership from the original owner who was Andy Weitzenkorn. Pat's is a beer distributor that carries cases and kegs.
Quality: Not bad, but not stellar either. They have all the local beers such as Troegs, Victory, Stoudts etc. They also have a few good Belgian and European beers.
Service: Not impressed. There is one guy behind the counter and not a sinlge person roaming the floor to answer questions or help in any way.
Selection: Again, not impressed. I was looking for a sixtel of local beer that every distributor in our area should have, Sly Fox Phoenix Pale Ale and they did not have it in stock. My second sixtel I asked for was Sam Adams Winter Lager, again not in stock. What do you have in stock? I don't know because after that I just left. Even their case selections of local beers leave alot to be desired as many locals were missing. I also noted some older cases laying around that should have been removed from the floor.
Value: Not cheap especially for our area.
Overall I will stay away from this distributor in the future. There are way too many good distributors to visit and it's pretty obvious they want to cater to the BMC crowd.
