This place is enormous, I'm used to relatively dingy liquor stores or small craft beer stores, but this place is like a wal-mart of booze. I blazed past all of the displays of wine and liquor and straight for the 3 aisle rows of my favorite beverage. The beers can be bought in almost every form, from select kegs to singles, I really enjoy creating my own six pack (a process which usually takes my buddy and I about an hour to decide on). Service is pretty much non existent because it is grocery store-esque however if you ask an employee they'll be more than happy to help you, some of them are just not incredibly knowledgeable in the realm of beer. I did enjoy that just about every beer has a description posted, mentioning the flavors of the style and individual beer, in fact some of the beers even have the beer advocate rating mentioned. Overall it's a great store that I'm sure to visit again.

Big selection of bombers and bottles and cans. A little hard to find what you need and not a big selection of limited releases when I was there. Also, it isn't very advertised what is limited releases and what is common, so you gotta kind of know what you are looking for. However, the staff is super helpful. I was able to get Uinta's limited Birthday Suit 23 while I was there as well as their Port o Call which they no longer make. Like I said though, you need to know a little about the limited, hard to find stuff before you go. Otherwise, you are just hunting and pecking.

Great allocation, variety and service. Whenever I call, they check for me.
Very central in Orlando.

Solid selection and pricing. It is difficult to just walk in and grab that one beer you need. I always end up spending considerably more money then planned. I've asked for help in the past and have always been pleased with their customer service.

I am concerned that they've been 'over managing' their limited release beers. Don't be surprised if you show up expecting to grab a 4 or 6 pack only to be told it is 1 12oz beer per person per day. Ouch.

Great selection of craft beers. Make your own six or twelve and roll out. Prices aren't bad for what you're getting. There's such a large selection, and a good rotation, that you could go every other day and still find new things. Very possible to spend hundreds of dollars on just beer here. Not much else to say, it's your typical beer/liquor superstore. Worth going to all the time though.

I like Total Wine, but that's because I live in Florida. There are hardly any good craft beer stores. Knightly Spirits blew this place out of the water, but it doesn't mean it's not a great go-to place for craft beer.

I met the two beer buyers while I was there. They were informative and willing to share beer stories with me. They had recommendations on the stuff I hadn't tried and knew brew dates on most of the bottles that had rubbed off in transit. Unfortunately, they were low on a lot of stock, and were there to figure out what they needed to buy.

The selection was good, not great. I found a few standard favorites, and a couple new ones that they recommended. They had put a lot of stock into new breweries, and I bought a couple of bottles on their suggestions, but it seemed like they sacrificed quite a bit of shelf space for people that many had never heard of. I don't mind that at all - for me it's all about exploration. They even told me how great Knightly Spirits would be, and what I could expect when I got there. Good people.

It seems like your average Total Wine, no surprises or let-downs.

The selection is fairly large with tons of singles available to build-your-own from 12ozers to bombers. The beer isles are always clean, well-kept and organized.

I personally haven't experienced any service. They don't seem to seek you out to offer help or advice which is fine by me, but I'm not sure on how much the staff knows about the beer they have available.

They do carry a good supply of Cigar City beers for anyone visiting who is interested in grabbing some while they are in town.

The prices are pretty much on-par with that I see anywhere else.

Visited on Sept. 13, 2010 just a few hours before catching a plane home.

As with all Total Wines, this place is huge. 90% of the place is devoted to wines & spirits but what they do have in beer selection is solid. Pretty much everything domestic that is available in Orlando area, they have it. Saw some Laughing Dog bombers that i haven't seen anywhere else in FL. The import selection is not as impressive but they have the basics and a bit more. I love the fact that everything is alphabetized. Huge plus for an organizational geek like me. Quality seemed fresh and even some newer bottles were put ahead of older ones. Saw some fresh Gordon Biersch. Prices are the cheapest i've seen and you can mix & match everything they have. Along with Whole Foods & Knightly, this place is not to be missed.

My parents go here for wine all the time and I heard that they had a huge selection of every kind of alcohol there so I had to check it out.
I was left speechless...
Things are organized kinda oddly and may seem to be scattered but the imports are always separated from the domestics and everything is grouped by brewery. There is also a make your own six pack isle with single beers usually between 1.50 and 3.00 depending on the quality. I just recently bought a couple of the higher gravity Flying Dog beers for 2.50 each and a Steelhead double IPA for only 1.99
There is usually too many beers to choose from, my friends and I spend at least thirty minutes in there every time. I am not sure if there is a better spot for collection as well as price in the Orlando area. If so please let me know.

I passed by this place and I knew I had to stop in. I had already cleaned house at Knightlys the other day but I was right there. Typical total wine here, no service really to speak of but the selection was better then anything I ever see around the area here for sure. Nice dogfish selections, most rogues, and lots of Smutty. Some nice Hurricane Reef, never heard of them but seemed local. Prices were right around were they should have been. Nothing really rare or out of the ordianary but I would take this selection here over what I have up home anyday, Not a bad stop if you drive through for sure, you could do much much worse.

I found this place while out to lunch with my wife. I was very impressed by the size of the store. Very wide selection of many craft beers. I just moved from upstate NY to central FL; I was very pleased to find quite a few favorite NY brews. Prices range from decent to exceptional. They say they carry 1000 beers; it is most likely less than that, but still have a very good selection. And my wife was happy because this is the only place she has found in FL that sells her favorite upstate NY wine.
I didn't ask for help or service, but they seemed to be a bit understaffed for a Friday night.

OK so I know this is a chain, but seriously people, its still a good place to get quality beer for the masses and even, gasp, for us BAs. This one is actually about 20x better then the one I visit here in Virginia. One row of singles, one row of 4/6 packs. A few endcaps with features.

Theres a good selection of pretty much everything but Belgians(leaving that to Knightly Spirits.) Prices seemed about right and I didnt catch any old beers.

I didnt get any employees coming down the aisle to check up on me, it was Saturday and lots of customers in the store though.

I was kind of dragged in here by my girlfriend one day but to my surprise they actually have a lot of beer. The best part about it was that you could create your own six pack. I love this concept although some individually priced bottles are over priced in my opinion.

As I was making my own six, one of the workers walked by and started to make suggestions. Asked me what a I liked and then built off of it form there. I thought i was going to get some good stuff from these guys but I guess not. After he threw about 5 beers at me I actually asked him what one tasted like. Expecting a short review all he said was "it was weird". Following that he did describe to me the flavor of one beer and I quote "elephant piss". Why would I drink that?

Over all I was pretty impressed with their selection of micro's, the ability to create your on six. Many good American micros and foreign such as Young's, and Samuel Smith's among others. The employees turned out to be more annoying than helpful. If you are in the area definitely stop by and you will stumble on some good finds.

I've been patronizing Total Wine and More for approximately six months. They do a decent job of stocking craft beer and the prices are good. The staff doesn't seem to know much about the beer, I guess they're more knowledgeable about wine.

I'm into domestics, so I can't tell you a lot about the imports, but the domestic selection is okay. They stock most of the Flying Dog line, Bells, Boulder Beer, Rogue, Shipyard and a few others. One of the things I love about this place is they let you make your own six pack and they provide holders.

One word of caution. Make sure you check the price that they ring up on your selections. I've been overcharged on multiple occasions.

OK so I've never been to a Total Wine before seeing that we don't have these in Louisiana. I must say it's pretty impressive. This place is the Sams of alcohol. I personally have never been in a place that sells this much beer. This place puts Martin Wine Cellar(where I work) to shame. As for selection it is awesome compared to what I can get back home but in terms of service the staff is friendly but not real knowledgable about beer. I will always stop by here in when in Orlando. I better make room in the Jeep because I can't get a lot of these beers in New Orleans!

Total Wine is what it is. A store with a pretty decent selection a pretty damn good prices. You are not going to find any hard to find offerings, but they do carry most of the basics at very reasonable prices. Most of the employees working there no nothing about beer, but the store is always clean and the isles are typically well stocked. Overall, Total Wine is no where near the best store in town (Big C and Knightly take the cake) but it is easy and convenient in the heart of Orlando. As mentioned, don't go in looking for stuff you have never seen before, but it is a nice place to stock up with the essentials.

Went out to eat while visiting some friends in O-town and this place happened to be next door so it was my duty to check it out. I've been to several other Total Wines (in North Carolina) and this place was no different. Nice, clean, large and well lit could all be used to describe the place. Their focus is on wine as it takes up 3/4 of the store but the beer selection ain't too shabby. Couple aisles full of it not to mention you can mix & match beers to make your own 6 pack. I love stores that allow you to do that. This place has ALL of your typical selections... just nothing that you probably couldn't find somewhere else. The only detractors to Total Wine, which are the same with each of its locations, are that the prices can occasionally be a little to high and the service is non-existent. If you do find someone to help you they could probably tell you everything you wanted to know about wine but couldn't point out a decent IPA. If you know what you are looking at there aren't any problems though.

Overall if you're looking for a great selection but not any of those "hard to find" brews then this is your place. Convenient location and nice store. Other than knightly spirits this is where I would go in Orlando.
