A touristy, trendy place but they have a solid beer list heavy in the Trappists and those like them. While the beer list is good, the location is the real draw. The back garden is awesome. I truly loved sitting outside on the canal sipping my beer and soaking up the city of Bruges.

I know most BAs would see this as too commercial but I say take it for what it is... a great setting to enjoy a great beer.

We got lucky and quickly found our way though the souvineer and chocolate area through to the "Beer Maze" of winding shelves. I wasn't particularly looking for anything, no achievement-unlock-list in hand, but the selection was pretty wide, but didn't appear very deep.

I did notice the sunlight streaming in the window and shining on an entire set of shelves of beer, some in green bottles. Perhaps the next reviewer can tell us what a skunked gueuze tastes like?

The restaurant/bar area was too crowded to bother wading in, though it was drizzling outside so maybe everyone was hiding inside.

Unfortunately for us we were there in the off season and it was a cold and rainy day so we didn't get to enjoy to outside view as we wanted.

Great beer selection and great atmosphere. The wall was my favourite and the store was amazing too.

We will be back for sure.

I have been to 2be multiple times on my trips to Brugge. There is nothing like enjoying a fine Belgian beer sitting on the canal. The views and the atmosphere make it such a great place to just sit, relax, and enjoy talking about beer and being in such a beautiful city. This place is known for its Beer Wall and is definitely a tourist destination. The selection of beer at the shop to take with you is great and the selection at the bar is pretty good too. I love this place and recommend that any Belgian beer lover to visit this place.

2be is a touristy place, but serves great beers in an enjoyable atmosphere. It is not intimate like 't Brugs, but what it lacks in ambiance it makes up in location. Fun to watch the tour boats streaming by in the canal. I think we stopped by a couple of times, and despite the selection of really good Belgian beers, the crowd does become a turn off. I highly recommend a stop at 2be, it is well worth a look, and you'll absolutely meet some tourists, so good to chat up. I do love the beer wall with it's umteen gazillion bottles and what fun looking at all those esoteric beer cased stacked to the ceiling. Don't embarass yourself and ask for a menu, it is hanging from the ceiling, attached to rubber bands, just reach up.

Went to see the "Beer Wall" containing all 780 Belgian beers.

Located in a nice building that was formerly the 15th century mayor of Brugge's residence.

THey had 8 beers on tap, in various sizes (.25, .3, .5L, up to 1-2-3L for several people). Had a Steen Brugge Tripel on the terrace, for about 3 Euro for a .33L chalice.

Keep in mind this is a touristy city, on a tourist trap street.

They have a great selection, slightly better but it is on-par with other beer shops in the city. I mix and matched and purchased 24 beers and a couple glasses. Little pricey however, you can find many of the same beers available in local grocery stores for nealy half the price.

This place is really more of a souvenir shop that sells beer than it is a true bottle shop - they sold cheesy beer/glass gift packs, low end chocolates, t-shirts that had nothing to do with beer, soda/nonalcoholic drinks and snacks, and other silly non-beer related nicknacks.
The quality of this establishment was pretty average and too spread out. It's like a giant WallMart with half empty shelves, and the beer on the shelves were ones you could find in the States - no rare Lambics or Geuzes and really nothing out of the ordinary.
We walked around in this place for a good 20 minutes and not one shopkeep came up and said a word to us (???) and we were ready to drop some cash. We left there with a few bottles of something I can't even remember. I won't be going here again.

This is a high quality beer, chocolate and food produce shop (jams, biscuits, etc). It is laid out in a variety of rooms at different levels. There is also a bar and terrace on a canel side which gets very busy mid-afternoon. Expect to be photographed if you use the terrace, sadly it closes at 19.00, at least it did on the Saturday I visited.

Back to the shop bit: neat, clean and well presented shelves, housed in the 15th Century Mayor's House. The labyrinth of well lite spaces invite you to fill your basket with bottles and glasses, but beware, it isn't cheap, so go sober!

I bought 8 different beers (all 33cl bottles) for 19.20 Euro, so 2.40 Euro average per beer.

Prefered biershop "De Bierboom", but for a place in central Brugges this was fine and well worth popping in and having a nose around.

Just down the road, next to the canal, from the Hotel Erasmus (where we stayed) is this rather non-advertised beer store. It also sells chocolates and some cheesy Belgian souveniers but as you wander around a bit you realize that the place has an absolute ridiculous amount of beer as well as gift packs of beer that I've not seen elsewhere.

The basement or beer cellar is absolutely amazing. It is a veritable library of Belgian beers and their glassware. Everything is alphabetized and organized. I loved it. It was really, really cool. Although, I didn't buy anything since I would have to transport it with me for 4 days before returning to Brussels for my flight home.

If this place had Westvleteren (don't be fooled by the empty case and six-pack in the place where it should be - the Ws) it would have been the best beer store we went to in Belgium. Even better than de Bier Tempel in Brussels, purely based on volume, selection and cleanliness/order.

Check it out for sure and avoid the Beerwall, its sort of a touristy gimmicky thing. Look at the bottles but don't bother with the bar itself.

This place has a massive inventory of belgians here with a decent selection of glassware. They have a cellar downstairs with rows and rows of beers but not too many rarities. The most annoying thing about this store is that they have Westvleteren bottles everywhere but refuse to sell them. It's like they are rubbing it in your face. They also have a decent slection of books and snacks. Very big selection but a little pricier and not as good as other shops in Brugges. It is worth checking out though.
